นายสมฤทธิ์ คำเคลื่อน ปลัดอาวุโสอำเภอบางสะพาน พร้อมด้วย นายทนงศักดิ์ แข่งขัน ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่สายการผลิต บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ผู้แทนหน่วยงานราชการ และผู้นำชุมชนอำเภอบางสะพาน ร่วมเปิดกิจกรรมสัปดาห์ความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัย สิ่งแวดล้อม พลังงาน และความยั่งยืน (SHEE & Sustainability Week) ประจำปี 2568 ซึ่งเอสเอสไอจัดขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมและสร้างความตระหนักรู้ด้านความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัยและสิ่งแวดล้อม การใช้พลังงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ตลอดจนขับเคลื่อนองค์กรสู่ความยั่งยืนในการอยู่ร่วมกันกับสังคมและชุมชนในระยะยาว
ภายในงาน มีการรายงานผลการดำเนินงานด้านการจัดการความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัย สิ่งแวดล้อม พลังงาน และความยั่งยืน การมอบรางวัลจากกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ รวมถึงการจัดบูธนิทรรศการด้านความยั่งยืนจากสำนักการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนและการสื่อสารกลุ่ม และบูธนิทรรศการเกี่ยวกับความปลอดภัย พร้อมกิจกรรมสันทนาการเพื่อสร้างการมีส่วนร่วมของพนักงาน นอกจากนี้ยังมีการบรรยาย Talk Show โดย อาจารย์เชษฐา ธนะโสภา วิทยากรผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน ในหัวข้อ “การสร้างจิตสำนึกความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน” เพื่อเสริมสร้างความรู้ ความเข้าใจในการปรับพฤติกรรมการทำงานอย่างปลอดภัย ปลุกจิตสำนึกด้านความปลอดภัย และตระหนักถึงสาเหตุของการเกิดอุบัติเหตุ อันจะนำไปสู่การสร้างวัฒนธรรมความปลอดภัยในการทำงานอย่างยั่งยืน ทั้งนี้ กิจกรรมดังกล่าวมีผู้เข้าร่วมงานกว่า 400 คน จัดขึ้น ณ โรงงานเอสเอสไอ บางสะพาน เมื่อวันที่ 19 ธันวาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา

SSI Hosts “SHEE & Sustainability Week 2025”
Mr. Somrit Khamkhleuan, Senior Assistant Chief District Officer of Bang Saphan, together with Mr. Thanongsak Khaengkan, Vice President – Head of Manufacturing Division, Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SSI), along with representatives from government agencies and community leaders of Bang Saphan District, jointly presided over the opening ceremony of the Safety, Health, Environment, Energy and Sustainability Week (SHEE & Sustainability Week) 2025.The event was organized by SSI to promote and raise awareness of safety, occupational health and environment, efficient energy utilization, and to drive the organization toward long-term sustainability through harmonious coexistence with society and local communities.
Activities during the event included presentations on SSI’s performance in safety, occupational health, environment, energy management, and sustainability, as well as award presentations from various activities. There were sustainability exhibition booths organized by the Group Sustainable Development and Communications, safety-related exhibition booths, and recreational activities designed to encourage employee participation. In addition, a special talk show was delivered by Ajarn Chesta Thanasopa, a safety expert, under the topic “Building Safety Awareness in the Workplace.” The session aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding of safe working behaviors, raise safety awareness, and highlight the root causes of workplace accidents, ultimately fostering a sustainable safety culture within the organization. The event was attended by more than 400 participants and was held at SSI, Bangsaphan on 19 December 2025.
