นายทนงศักดิ์ แข่งขัน ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ หัวหน้าสายการผลิต บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ เข้ารับเกียรติบัตร “โครงการทดสอบแพลตฟอร์มคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ขององค์กร เพื่อมุ่งสู่ Net Zero (ระยะที่ 2)” จากดร.ณัฐริกา วายุภาพ นิติพน รองผู้อำนวยการองค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ อบก. ในงานสัมมนาสรุปผลการดำเนินโครงการฯ ณ โรงแรมทีเค. พาเลซ & คอนเวนชั่น
โครงการดังกล่าวมีเป้าหมายสนับสนุนองค์กรไทยให้สามารถติดตามและประเมินคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์อย่างเป็นระบบ เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกและบรรลุเป้าหมาย Net Zero ในอนาคต “เอสเอสไอ” ได้เข้าร่วมทดลองใช้งานแพลตฟอร์ม เพื่อจัดเก็บและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลการปล่อยคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ขององค์กรพร้อมนำข้อมูลมาพัฒนาการจัดการด้านพลังงานและสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในโรงงานอย่างต่อเนื่องและเป็นรูปธรรม สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของเอสเอสไอ ในการเป็นผู้ผลิตเหล็กชั้นนำที่ขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมอย่างยั่งยืนและเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
TGO Awards Certificate to SSI for Participating in Corporate Carbon Footprint Platform Pilot
Mr. Tanongsak Kaengkhan, Vice President – Head of Manufacturing Division of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SSI), received a certificate of recognition for participating in the “Corporate Carbon Footprint Platform Pilot Project toward Net Zero (Phase 2)” from Dr.Natarika Wayuparb Nitiphon, Deputy Executive Director, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), at the project’s closing seminar held at TK. Palace Hotel & Convention.
The project aims to support Thai organizations in systematically tracking and assessing their carbon footprint, driving greenhouse gas reduction, and achieving the country’s Net Zero target in the future. SSI participated in the platform trial to collect and analyze its organizational carbon footprint data, applying the insights to continuously and tangibly enhance the company’s energy and environmental management within its operations. This reflects SSI’s strong commitment to being a leading steel producer that advances sustainable and environmentally responsible industrial development.
