กลุ่มเหล็กสหวิริยา (SSI–TCRSS–PPC–WCE–BSBM) เดินหน้าส่งเสริมการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรทางทะเลควบคู่การพัฒนาชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน ผ่านความร่วมมือกับเครือข่ายชาวประมงบางสะพานในการจัดทำซั้งกอธรรมชาติ (บ้านปลา )โครงการ “ยิ่งทิ้ง ยิ่งเพิ่ม” เพื่อฟื้นฟูระบบนิเวศชายฝั่งและเพิ่มความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของทรัพยากรสัตว์น้ำในพื้นที่ โดยซั้งกอถือเป็นกลไกธรรมชาติที่ช่วยสร้างแหล่งอยู่อาศัยให้สัตว์น้ำ และเป็นรากฐานสำคัญของความมั่นคงทางอาชีพของชุมชนประมงพื้นบ้าน กิจกรรมดังกล่าวได้รับเกียรติจาก นายนิมิต วงษ์จินดา นายอำเภอบางสะพาน เป็นประธานในพิธี ณ ลานอเนกประสงค์หน้าองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแม่รำพึง โดยมีนายนันทชัย สุขเกื้อ ประธานเครือข่ายชาวประมงบางสะพาน กล่าวรายงานวัตถุประสงค์การจัดกิจกรรมสะท้อนความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคเอกชน หน่วยงานภาครัฐ และเครือข่ายชาวประมง ในการร่วมกันดูแลและฟื้นฟูทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอันเป็นฐานชีวิตของชุมชนท้องถิ่น ภายหลังพิธีเปิด ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมได้ร่วมกันฟื้นฟูระบบนิเวศทางทะเลอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ด้วยการจัดวางซั้งกอรวม 17 จุด ครอบคลุมพื้นที่อ่าวแม่รำพึง 11 จุด และอ่าวบ้านกรูด–บ้านทางสาย 6 จุด พร้อมปล่อยพันธุ์สัตว์น้ำ ได้แก่ ปลากระพง 18,000 ตัว หอยหวาน 1ล้านตัว และลูกปูม้า 2 ล้านตัว ในพื้นที่อ่าวแม่รำพึงและคลองปากปิด เพื่อเสริมความสมดุลของระบบนิเวศและการฟื้นตัวของทรัพยากรชายฝั่ง นอกจากนี้ กิจกรรมยังเปิดพื้นที่ให้ตัวแทนองค์กร ภาคีเครือข่าย และชุมชน ได้พบปะแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกับชาวประมงในพื้นที่ เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจ ความร่วมมือ และจิตสำนึกในการดูแลรักษาทรัพยากรทางทะเลร่วมกัน กลุ่มเหล็กสหวิริยามุ่งสานต่อการดำเนินงานด้านความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม ผ่านการทำงานร่วมกับชุมชนในระยะยาว เพื่อสร้างความมั่นคงทางอาชีพ ยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิต และรักษาทรัพยากรธรรมชาติของบางสะพานให้คงอยู่อย่างยั่งยืนสำหรับคนรุ่นต่อไป
SSI Group Supports Marine Conservation in Bang Saphan
Enhancing Coastal Ecosystems for Sustainable Fishing Communities
SSI Group (SSI–TCRSS–PPC–WCE–BSBM) continues to promote marine resource conservation alongside sustainable community development through collaboration with the Bang Saphan Fisherfolk Network. The initiative involves the installation of natural fish shelters (artificial reefs), locally known as “Sang Kor” or “fish houses,” under the project “The More You Give, the More You Gain.” The project aims to restore coastal ecosystems and enhance the abundance of marine resources in the area. Natural fish shelters serve as habitats for marine life and form a vital foundation for the livelihood security of local small-scale fishing communities.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Nimit Wongjinda, District Chief of Bang Saphan, who presided over the opening ceremony at the multipurpose ground in front of the Mae Ramphueng Subdistrict Administrative Organization. Mr. Nuntachai Sukkuea, Chairman of the Bang Saphan Fisherfolk Network, delivered a report outlining the objectives of the activity, reflecting strong collaboration among the private sector, government agencies, and fishing communities in jointly caring for and restoring natural resources that underpin local livelihoods.
Following the opening ceremony, participants took part in hands-on marine ecosystem restoration through the deployment of a total of 17 natural fish shelter sites—11 sites in Mae Ramphueng Bay and 6 sites in the Ban Krut–Ban Thang Sai coastal area. In addition, marine species were released to support ecosystem recovery, including 18,000 barramundi fingerlings, 1 million spotted babylon snails, and 2 million blue swimming crab juveniles in Mae Ramphueng Bay and Pak Pit Canal, helping to restore ecological balance and coastal resource resilience.
The activity also provided a platform for representatives from organizations, partner networks, and local communities to engage in dialogue with local fishers, fostering mutual understanding, cooperation, and shared stewardship of marine resources.
