กลุ่มเหล็กสหวิริยา ร่วมประชุมและลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) “การอนุรักษ์ฟื้นฟูระบบนิเวศ และการป้องกันการตื้นเขินของแหล่งน้ำแบบบูรณาการ (อ่างเก็บน้ำคลองลอย)
กลุ่มเหล็กสหวิริยา โดยนายทนงศักดิ์ แข่งขัน ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ หัวหน้าสายการผลิต บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ร่วมประชุมลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) “การอนุรักษ์ฟื้นฟูระบบนิเวศ และการป้องกันการตื้นเขินของแหล่งน้ำแบบบูรณาการ (อ่างเก็บน้ำคลองลอย)” เพื่อสนับสนุนการขับเคลื่อนการอนุรักษ์ ส่งเสริม และแก้ปัญหาเกี่ยวกับการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรน้ำ ร่วมกับ 13 ภาคีเครือข่ายในพื้นที่อำเภอบางสะพาน โดยมีนายสุทิน ประเสริฐศักดิ์ นายอำเภอบางสะพาน เป็นประธานการประชุม ณ ห้องประชุมอำเภอบางสะพาน ชั้น 3
การประชุมลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ครั้งนี้ เกิดขึ้นจาก ดร.รอยล จิตรดอน เลขาธิการมูลนิธิอุทกพัฒน์ ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ และนายประทีป บริบูรณ์รัตน์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ลงพื้นที่อ่างเก็บน้ำคลองลอย หมู่ที่ 8 ตำบลร่อนทอง อำเภอบางสะพาน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เพื่อหาแนวทางในการแก้ไขปัญหาตะกอนในอ่างเก็บน้ำคลองลอย ซึ่งเป็นสาเหตุทำให้อ่างเก็บน้ำตื้นเขิน และได้เสนอแนวทางในการแก้ไขปัญหาดังกล่าว
ดังนั้น เพื่อให้การแก้ไขปัญหามีประสิทธิภาพและประสิทธิผล ทางอำเภอบางสะพาน นำโดยนายสุทิน ประเสริฐศักดิ์ นายอำเภอบางสะพาน จึงเชิญภาคีเครือข่ายที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วมการประชุมลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ในครั้งนี้ โดยได้รับความร่วมมือจาก 13 ภาคีเครือข่าย ร่วมลงนาม ประกอบด้วย
1. อำเภอบางสะพาน
2. เกษตรอำเภอบางสะพาน
3. ประมงอำเภอบางสะพาน
4. หน่วยป้องกันรักษาป่า ที่ ปข.2 (วังยาว)
5. เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าอุทยานเสด็จในกรม กรมหลวงชุมพร ด้านทิศเหนือ (ตอนบน) จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์
6. เขตห้ามล่าสัตว์ป่าเขาไชยราช
7. การไฟฟ้าส่วนภูมิภาค สาขาบางสะพาน
8. องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลร่อนทอง
9. กำนันตำบลร่อนทอง

ทั้งนี้ ความร่วมมือในครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความตั้งใจของทุกภาคีในการร่วมกันอนุรักษ์ ฟื้นฟู และบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรน้ำอย่างยั่งยืน เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้กับชุมชนบางสะพาน และรักษาระบบนิเวศของอ่างเก็บน้ำคลองลอยให้คงอยู่เป็นแหล่งน้ำสำคัญในการดำรงชีวิตและการประกอบอาชีพของคนในพื้นที่ต่อไปในอนาคต

SSI Group Joins Forces with 13 Partners to Conserve the Khlong Loi Reservoir Ecosystem Bang Saphan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan

SSI Group participated in the meeting and signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the “Integrated Conservation, Restoration, and Sedimentation Prevention of the Khlong Loi Reservoir Ecosystem.” Representing the group, Mr. Tanongsak Kaengkhan, Assistant Vice President and Head of Production of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SSI), joined hands with 13 local network partners in this collaborative initiative aimed at protecting, restoring, and improving water resource management in the Bang Saphan area. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Suthin Prasertsak, District Chief Officer of Bang Saphan, at the District Meeting Room, 3rd floor, Bang Saphan District Office.
This cooperation originated from a field visit by Dr. Royol Chitradon, Secretary-General of the Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute (HAII) under the Chaipattana Foundation, and Mr. Prateep Boriboonrat, Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, to the Khlong Loi Reservoir in Ron Thong Subdistrict, Bang Saphan District. The visit identified sedimentation as the key cause of water storage reduction and recommended integrated solutions to address the problem.
To ensure effective and sustainable outcomes, Bang Saphan District Office led the initiative by convening relevant stakeholders to formalize this partnership. The 13 signatory partners include:
