กลุ่มเหล็กสหวิริยา (SSI-TCRSS-TCS-PPC-BSBM-WCE) โดย นายอรรถกร อุปการ หัวหน้าสายงานซ่อมบำรุง บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ พร้อมกลุ่มพนักงาน ร่วมดำเนินกิจกรรม“ปลูกป่าชายเลน ร่วมใจภักดิ์ รักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม” โดยร่วมกันปลูกต้นโกงกางจำนวน 500 ต้น ในพื้นที่บ่อกุ้งเก่า บ้านฝ่ายท่า หมู่ที่ 1 ตำบลพงศ์ประศาสน์ อำเภอบางสะพาน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นายนุกูล วัฒนากร ปลัดอาวุโสอำเภอบางสะพานเป็นประธานเปิดกิจกรรมและร่วมปลูกต้นโกงกาง มีสำนักงานทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่งที่ 3 (ทช.3), องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลพงศ์ประศาสน์, โรงเรียนบ้านสวนหลวง, โรงเรียน Little Lamb และชุมชนบ้านฝ่ายท่า เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม รวมกว่า 250 คน
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อฟื้นฟูระบบนิเวศป่าชายเลน เพิ่มแหล่งดูดซับคาร์บอนตามแนวทาง “บางสะพานชุมชนคาร์บอนต่ำ” สร้างจิตสำนึกด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมแก่เยาวชนและประชาชน พร้อมทั้งเสริมแนวป้องกันการกัดเซาะชายฝั่งด้วยแนวป่าธรรมชาติ นอกจากนี้ยังสะท้อนความร่วมมือของภาคเอกชน ภาครัฐ โรงเรียน และชุมชน ในการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอย่างยั่งยืน พร้อมสร้างความรู้ ความเข้าใจ และจิตสำนึกในการรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อมแก่เยาวชนและประชาชนในพื้นที่อย่างแท้จริง

SSI Group Strengthens Coastal Protection with Mangrove Planting in Bangsaphan

SSI Group (SSI–TCRSS–TCS–PPC–BSBM–WCE), led by Mr. Attakorn Upakarn, Head of Maintenance Division at SSI, along with employees, organized the activity “Mangrove Planting for a Greener Future.” Together, they planted 500 mangrove trees in the rehabilitated shrimp pond area at Ban Fai Tha, Phong Prasat Subdistrict, Bangsaphan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
The activity was presided over by Mr. Nukul Wattanakorn, Senior District Chief Officer of Bangsaphan, with the participation of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR Region 3), Phong Prasat Subdistrict Administrative Organization, local schools (Bansuanluang School, Little Lamb School), and the Ban Fai Tha community—bringing together over 250 participants.

The initiative aimed to restore the mangrove ecosystem, enhance carbon absorption in line with the “Bangsaphan Low-Carbon Community” approach, raise environmental awareness among youth and local residents, and reinforce natural coastal defenses against erosion. It also highlighted strong collaboration among the private sector, government agencies, schools, and the community in driving sustainable natural resource conservation.
