SSI Helps Relieving Drought in Bangsaphan

Mr. Vera Sriratanatrakul, Governor of Prachuap Khirikhan together with Mr. Narongpong Phothisombat, Advisor of Sahaviriya Group, Mr. Kittisak Mapanao, Vice President, Mr. Nava Chantanasurakon, Vice President and Mr. Padungsak Pranudomrat, Public & Community Relations Office Manager of Sahaviriya Steel Industry PLC or SSI released water transporting truck envoy to join with drought relieve center of Bangsaphan at SSI plant, Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khirikhan. Such water shall be distributed to the local people to help relieving them from lack of consuming and agricultural water.

นายวีระ ศรีรัตนตระกูล ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ร่วมกับ นายณรงค์พงศ์ โพธิสมบัติ ที่ปรึกษาเครือสหวิริยา พร้อมด้วย นายกิตติศักดิ์ มาพะเนาว์ ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ นายนาวา จันทนสุรคน ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ และ นายผดุงศักดิ์ ปราณอุดมรัตน์ ผู้จัดการสำนักประชาสัมพันธ์และชุมชนสัมพันธ์ บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี หรือเอสเอสไอ ปล่อยขบวนรถบรรทุกน้ำ เพื่อนำเข้าร่วมกับศูนย์ช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยแล้ง อำเภอบางสะพาน ในการลงพื้นที่แจกจ่ายน้ำให้ราษฎร ช่วยบรรเทาปัญหาความเดือดร้อนจากการขาดแคลนน้ำอุปโภคบริโภคและน้ำเพื่อการเกษตร ณ บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี บางสะพาน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์

SVG Conducts the 7th Sahaviriya Summer Camp

Mr. Thawil Chantrawaranulak, Senior Assistant District Chief Officer of Bangsaphan , Mr. Somhuang Konprom, Deputy Director of Educational District Office, Prachuap Khirikhan, Area 1 and Mr. Rachen Maneesawangwong presided over the opening ceremony of 7th Sahaviriya Summer Camp Project which is supported by Sahaviriya Group.
For this year, Sahaviriya Summer Camp Project has arranged activity at Bangsaphan School ,Tambol Mae Rum Pheung and Ban Suanluang School ,Tambol Pongprasat. The objective to expand all over for Bangsaphan youth to join this project which was held for 5 Days in 4 Knowledge Camps : English Language Camp, Computer Camp, Drawing Camp and Vocational Camp. Such camps aim to enhance knowledge and learning process skill theoretically and practically.Moreover, presented certificate to lecturers and Bangsaphan youths who participated in this program.

เปิดค่ายฤดูร้อนเครือสหวิริยาซัมเมอร์แคมป์ ครั้งที่ 7

นายถวิล ฉันทาวรานุรักษ์ ปลัดอาวุโสอำเภอบางสะพาน พร้อมนายสมหวง ขุนพรหม รองผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เขต 1 และนายราเชนทร์ มณีสว่างวงศ์ ผู้แทนคณะผู้บริหารเครือสหวิริยาเข้าร่วมในพิธีเปิดโครงการเครือสหวิริยาซัมเมอร์แคมป์ ครั้งที่7 ภายใต้การสนับสนุนของเครือสหวิริยา
สำหรับปี 2553 นี้เครือสหวิริยาได้จัดกิจกรรมค่ายฤดูร้อนเครือสหวิริยาซัมเมอร์แคมป์จำนวน 2 แห่ง คือ โรงเรียนบางสะพาน ต.แม่รำพึง และ โรงเรียนบ้านสวนหลวง ต.พงศ์ประศาสน์ ทั้งนี้เพื่อขยายโอกาสให้กับเยาวชนในท้องถิ่นมากขึ้นโดยจัดกิจกรรมค่ายความรู้แบบไป – กลับ หลักสูตร 5 วัน จำนวน 4 ค่าย คือ ค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ ค่ายคอมพิวเตอร์ ค่ายศิลปะ และค่ายเสริมสร้างวิชาชีพ เพื่อเสริมสร้างความรู้เชิงบูรณาการให้กับเยาวชนได้เพิ่มพูนความรู้ผ่านทักษะกระบวนการเรียนรู้จากภาคทฤษฎีและภาคปฏิบัติ โดยมีพิธีมอบวุฒิบัตรให้แก่วิทยากรและเยาวชนที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมค่ายฤดูร้อนในครั้งนี้เมื่อเสร็จสิ้นกิจกรรมอีกด้วย

SSI conserve the Thai tradition in Elder’s day

Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL together with Bangsaphan Hospital (Network health of Bangsaphan) arranged Elder’s day activity for more than 100 elders in Bangsaphan District. This ceremony is held in order to conserve the Thai tradition, together with to show gratitude and respect to the elderly people by sprinkling water to them. The activity was presided over by Mr. Thawil Chantrawaranulak, Senior Assistant District Chief Officer of Bangsaphan at Polwisut Hall, Bangsaphan Hospital, Prachuap Khirikhan.

เอสเอสไอสืบสานประเพณีไทยในวันผู้สูงอายุ

บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) ร่วมกับ โรงพยาบาลบางสะพาน (เครือข่ายบริการสุขภาพอำเภอบางสะพาน) จัดโครงการวันสำคัญประจำปี (วันผู้สูงอายุ) ประจำปี ให้แก่ผู้สูงอายุในพื้นที่อำเภอบางสะพาน เพื่อเป็นการแสดงความกตัญญูกตเวที แสดงความเคารพ และเพื่อสืบสานวัฒนธรรมประเพณีการรดน้ำดำหัวผู้สูงอายุ ซึ่งมีผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนสนใจเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมกว่า 100 คน โดยนายถวิล ฉันทาวรานุรักษ์ ปลัดอาวุโสอำเภอบางสะพาน ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานเปิดโครงการ ณ สโมสรพลวิสุทธิ์ โรงพยาบาลบางสะพาน อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์

(SSI), presided over the Company’s Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting 2010, with the attendance of SSI’s Board of Directors, Management and shareholders.

Matichon – Sahaviriya Friendship Football Match

In order to enhance good relationship with the press, Khun Win Viriyaprapaikit, President of Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL. or SSI and Directors of Sahaviriya Group together with Managers attended the Friendship Football Match against Matichon Group team led by Khun Tharkun Boonpan, and Khun Sompratana Klaywichien, Executive Editor of Kao Sod Newspaper and Prachart Durakij Newspaper respectively. This match was played at Bangkok Sport Center, Prachaniwet . Matichon Group team won the match by the score of 3-0 and earned the trophy.
