ภายหลังจากที่ท่าเรือน้ำลึก ของบริษัท ท่าเรือประจวบ จำกัด (PPC) ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในบริษัทย่อยของ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือเอสเอสไอ ได้มีโอกาสต้อนรับเรือหลวงจักรีนฤเบศรของกองทัพเรือที่เข้าจอดเทียบท่าเพื่อ พักเรือ และได้เปิดบริการให้พี่น้องประชาชนชาวอำเภอบางสะพานเข้าเยี่ยมชมพร้อมสัมผัส ความยิ่งใหญ่ของเรือบรรทุกเฮลิคอปเตอร์ลำใหญ่ที่สุดในภูมิภาคเอเซียตะวันออก เฉียงใต้กันอย่างใกล้ชิดมาเล้วเมื่อวันที่ 15 ธันวาคม ที่ผ่านมา และเอสเอสไอ มีข่าวดีมาแจ้งสำหรับทุกท่านที่เคยเข้าเยี่ยมชมเรือหลวงจักรีนฤเบศรให้ทราบ ว่าขณะนี้ เรือหลวงจักรีนฤเบศรได้จัดโครงการ “ประกวดภาพถ่ายความประทับใจที่มีร่วมกับเรือหลวงฯ” โดยจัดส่งภาพถ่ายพร้อมบอกเล่าเรื่องราวความประทับใจในการเข้าเยี่ยมชมเรือ หลวงฯ ของท่าน ส่งมาที่ chakrinaruebet@hotmail.com เพื่อชิงรางวัลและของที่ระลึกจากเรือหลวงจักรีนฤเบศร รวมกว่า 50 รางวัล โดยสามารถเข้าไปดูรายระเอียดเพิ่มเติมได้ที่ website หรือโทร083–9030440 หมดเขตรับภาพถ่ายวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2551 นี้

SSI moves forward to arts project for less privileged youth

 Dr. Maruey Phadoongsidhi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or SSI, presided the presentation of 46 scholarships and certificates to the youth who won the drawing contest in the topic of “Reduce Global Warming” under the project of “Silp San Fan Pun Numjai SSI Phur Nong Duay Ruk” for 2008. There was also an exhibition of the winning drawings at Atrium 2 Square, Siam Center to encourage other youth to pay more attention to art works to enhance their concentration and to make them spend their free time productively.

 

SSIเดินหน้ากิจกรรมศิลปะเติมฝันเยาวชนด้อยโอกาส

            ดร.มารวย ผดุงสิทธิ์ ประธานกรรมการ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ เป็นประธานมอบทุนการศึกษาและประกาศนียบัตร ให้แก่เยาวชนที่ชนะการประกวดวาดภาพ หัวข้อ “ลดโลกร้อน” ในโครงการ “ศิลป์สานฝันปันน้ำใจ เอสเอสไอเพื่อน้องด้วยรัก” ประจำปี 2551 จำนวน 46 รางวัล ซึ่งภายในงานได้จัดแสดงนิทรรศการภาพวาดฝีมือเยาวชนที่ชนะการประกวดรางวัลประเภทต่างๆ เพื่อสร้างขวัญและกำลังใจให้แก่เยาวชนผู้สร้างสรรค์ผลงานและเยาวชนอื่นๆ ให้หันมาสนใจงานศิลปะเสริมสร้างสมาธิและรู้จักการใช้เวลาให้มีประโยชน์ ณ ลานเอเทรี่ยม 2 ศูนย์การค้าสยามเซ็นเตอร์

SSI held National Father’s Day activity

Community Activity

On the occasion of H.M. the King Bhumipol’s Birthday or National Father’s Day, In 4 Dec 08, SSI had provided the program of health-knowledge and activities related to such event to the elderly of Bangsaphan. The event took place @ BSP Hospital Hall. This is the community activity with cooperation of SSI and Bangsaphan Health Service Network (BSP Hospital) which was participated of 113 people from 7 districts.

SSI believes that another factor contributing to society’s progress is the good health of community’s members. SSI regards activity and education in health and hygiene as another important part of its mandate to help community members, along with its efforts to maintain the most beautiful aspects of local culture, including religion and customs. These elements play a vital role in calming and strengthening society in a sustainable fashion.

เอสเอสไอทำดีถวายพ่อหลวงของปวงไทย

เนื่องในโอกาสมหามงคล 5 ธันวามหาราช บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ในฐานะหน่วยงานเอกชนที่ให้ความสำคัญกับการมีส่วนร่วมดูแลสังคมและชุมชน ร่วมกับเครือข่ายบริการสาธารณสุข อ.บางสะพาน (โรงพยาบาลและสาธารณสุขตำบลของ อ.บางสะพาน) จัดกิจกรรมโครงการ “ส่งเสริมสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุ” ให้แก่ผู้สูงอายุในพื้นที่ อ.บางสะพาน จำนวน 113 คน เพื่อร่วมเทิดพระเกียรติและถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ เนื่องในวโรกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาครบ 81 พรรษา เมื่อวันที่ 4 ธันวาคม ณ สโมสรพลวิสุทธิ์ โรงพยาบาลบางสะพาน จ. ประจวบคีรีขันธ์

เอสเอสไอเชื่อมั่นว่าความเจริญก้าวหน้าของสังคมส่วนหนึ่งได้มาจากสุขอนามัยที่ดีของผู้คนในชุมชน จึงได้ให้ความสำคัญต่อการจัดกิจกรรมโครงการให้ความรู้ในการดูแลสุขภาพแก่สมาชิกของชุมชน ตลอดจนการผดุงรักษาวัฒนธรรมประเพณีอันดีงาม ทั้งในส่วนของศาสนา ขนบธรรมเนียมและประเพณี ซึ่งเป็นอีกหนึ่งรากฐานที่ช่วยสร้างความแข็งแกร่งและความร่มเย็นเป็นสุขให้แก่สังคมอย่างยั่งยืน

SSI Helped Developing the Local Economies by Purchasing Fertilizer from Farmers to Use in the Plant

In order to support and strengthen economies and environmental preservation in the communities, Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or SSI has purchased organic fertilizers and manures from the fertilizer manufacturing groups in Bang Saphan communities, Prachuap Khirikhan. At the first stage, the Company purchased organic fertilizer from Organic Fertilizer Bank of Tambon Pong Prasat, which has Mr. Prasit Muernwong, as the group leader and purchased manures from Mr. Siripong Thitathan, a farmer in Bang Saphan at the total amount of 12 tons to nurture and plant trees in green areas of the industrial plants and the surrounding areas. The Company has specified the clear policy on procurement of products and services that the first source of supply must be from people and sellers of Bang Saphan.

เอสเอสไอ ร่วมพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจชุมชนรับซื้อปุ๋ยจากเกษตรกรใช้ในโรงงาน

เพื่อเป็นการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนเศรษฐกิจ และการดูแลรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อมในชุมชน บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้รับซื้อปุ๋ยอินทรีย์และปุ๋ยคอกจากกลุ่มเกษตรกรผู้ผลิตปุ๋ยในชุมชน อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยในเบื้องต้นได้รับซื้อปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ จากธนาคารปุ๋ยอินทรีย์สาขาตำบลพงศ์ประศาสน์ ซึ่งมีนายประสิทธิ์ เหมือนวงศ์ เป็นประธานกลุ่ม และรับซื้อปุ๋ยคอกจากนาย ศิริพงศ์ ฐิตะฐาน เกษตรกรใน อ.บางสะพาน รวมจำนวนกว่า 12 ตัน เพื่อนำมาใช้บำรุงรักษาและปลูกต้นไม้ในบริเวณพื้นที่สีเขียวของโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมและโดยรอบ ทั้งนี้บริษัทได้กำหนดเป็นนโยบายชัดเจนในการจัดซื้อจัดหาสินค้าและบริการต่างๆ โดยมุ่งเน้นกลุ่มประชาชนและผู้ขายในพื้นที่ อ.บางสะพาน เป็นหลัก

SSI Road-show for Steel House Contest, at Khon Khaen University-Chiang Mai University

After Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or SSI has cooperated with the Iron & Steel Institute of Thailand to arrange “SSI Steel House Contest, the Innovative Living Steel”, many road-shows have been conducted to publicize and invite the students of Faculty of Architecture and Engineering from many universities, both in Bangkok and the vicinity to participate in this project and this activity has received many good feedbacks continually. Therefore, the Company has expanded the public relations works to the students of Faculty of Architecture and Engineering in the regional universities so the works sent for this contest can be varied. The first regional road show has been conducted at Khon Kaen University, which is the central university of the north-eastern region and followed by Chiang Mai University before heading to the universities in other regions.

โครงการประกวดบ้านเหล็กเอสเอสไอลุยโรดโชว์ ม.ขอนแก่น – เชียงใหม่

หลังจากที่ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือเอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับสถาบันเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าแห่งประเทศไทย จัดโครงการประกวดออกแบบบ้านเหล็ก “นวัตกรรมที่อยู่อาศัยแห่งอนาคต” และได้เดินหน้าโรดโชว์ประชาสัมพันธ์เชิญชวน นิสิต นักศึกษา คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์และวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ในมหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆ ทั้งในเขตกรุงเทพฯ และปริมณฑล ให้เข้าร่วมโครงการประกวดออกแบบบ้านเหล็ก ซึ่งได้กระแสตอบรับที่ดีมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง บริษัทฯ จึงขยายผลการประชาสัมพันธ์ออกสู่กลุ่ม นิสิต นักศึกษา คณะ
