Khun Win Viriyaprapaikit, President of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited or SSI undertook the community development projects under “SSI Volunteering Program” which has been participated by the management team, SSI officers, Sahaviriya Group of Companies and the local people. This program has been arranged for 2 consecutive times, with more than 300 volunteers participated. The “1st SSI ARSA” was the development of community learning center for Sai Phet Village and the “2nd SSI Volunteering Project” was the development of technical workshop building for Bang Saphan Iron & Steel Technology Institute, Bang Saphan District, Prachuap Khirikhan

คุณวิน วิริยประไพกิจ กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ จัดกิจกรรมพัฒนาชุมชนภายใต้โครงการ “เอสเอสไออาสา” โดยนำคณะผู้บริหารและพนักงานเอสเอสไอ บริษัทเครือสหวิริยา ร่วมกับประชาชนในพื้นที่ เดินสายทำกิจกรรมพัฒนาชุมชนซึ่งได้มีแผนการจัดขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องมาแล้วถึง 2 ครั้ง มีสมาชิกจิตอาสาเข้าร่วมในโครงการรวมกว่า 300 คน โดย “เอสเอสไออาสา ครั้งที่ 1” ได้ไปทำการพัฒนาศูนย์เรียนรู้ชุมชนหมู่บ้านสายเพชร และ “เอสเอสไออาครั้งที่ 2” ได้ทำการพัฒนาอาคารปฏิบัติการช่างให้กับ วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีการจัดการเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าบางพาน อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์

Mr. Nava Chantanasurakon, Vice President, Human Resources & Administration Division, Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited or SSI, as the SSI representative contributed Baht 30,000 which was the fund raised from arranging of “SSI Mini Marathon 2008” to the Rehabilitation and Occupational Promotion Center for the Disabled, National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand, Thai Foundation for the Blind, Association for Promotion of Traditional Thai Massage by the Blind to support the activity operations of the disabled person at the Reception Room, Prapawit Building, Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited.

นายนาวา จันทนสุรคน ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ สายทรัพยากรบุคคลและธุรการ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ เป็นตัวแทนมอบเงินรายได้จากการจัดงานเดิน–วิ่งการกุศล “SSI Mini Marathon 2008” ให้แก่ สำนักงานส่งเสริมอาชีพและพัฒนาคนพิการสภาสังคมสงเคราะห์แห่งประเทศไทย มูลนิธิคนตาบอดไทย และสมาคมส่งเสริมการนวดแผนไทยคนตาบอด จำนวน 30,000 บาท เพื่อสนับสนุนการดำเนินกิจกรรมของผู้พิการ ณ ห้องรับรอง อาคารประภาวิทย์ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน)
