Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or SSI , in cooperation with Sahaviriya Group’s affiliates, have rolled out an environmental conservation project, which aims to increase green space in the plant area of Bangsaphan through growing 77,811 trees in three years(B.E.2550-2552). This activity is not only a part of SSI’s strong commitment and determination to ensure that environmental conservation activities are implemented successfully, but also a part of “do good for king” project to cerebrate the most auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 80th Birthday Anniversary. Besides purchasing trees from local sources and donation by relevant parties, the company encourages employees to actively participate in this project by bringing their own trees to join this activity too.

รวมพลังสามัคคีทำดีเพื่อพ่อ : เอสเอสไอ- เครือสหวิริยาเพิ่มพื้นที่สีเขียว
บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือเอสเอสไอ โดยความร่วมมือกับบริษัทในเครือสหวิริยา จัดทำโครงการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมและเพิ่มพื้นที่สีเขียวในโรงงาน โดยร่วมกันปลูกต้นไม้จำนวน 77,811 ต้นภายในพื้นที่โรงงาน (ตั้งแต่ปีพ.ศ.2550-2552)การดำเนินโครงการดังกล่าวนอกจากจะเป็นการช่วยเพิ่มพื้นที่สีเขียวในบริเวณโรงงาน ตามนโยบายการดูแลรับผิดชอบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมที่บริษัทฯได้ยึดถือและดำเนินการมาอย่างต่อเนื่องแล้ว ยังเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ “ รวมพลังสามัคคี ทำดีเพื่อพ่อ หนึ่งล้านคลังโลหิต เก้าล้านต้นไม้เพื่อพ่อ” เพื่อเป็นการเทิดพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวเนื่องในวโรกาสทรงมีพระชนมายุ 80 พรรษา ซึ่งต้นไม้ดังกล่าวนอกจากจะได้มาจากการจัดซื้อในพื้นที่แล้วยังได้รับความร่วมมือในการบริจาคจากพนักงานและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องอีกด้วย

According to “SSI Steel House Contest 2008”, the cooperation project between Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited and the Iron & Steel Institute of Thailand, The decision in semi-final round contest was made on 25th February, 2009 by the contest committee. There were 102 works passed the ground rule. 41 works from that have been selected to the selection round which consist of 19 works from student level and 22 works from professional level.
Khun Win Viriyaprapaikit, President of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (SSI), recently led the management team and staff to Join a seminar on “Strategic Plan for Steel Construction Development” conducted By Mr.Nuttapon Suttitam, Vice President of IMMS Co., Ltd (Thailand), at Sahavira Group Conference Room, Rama III, Bangkok. There were more than 100 managers participated in this event. The participants have learned and understood the Structural Steel Construction, the ISIT’s Strategic Plan for Steel Work Development as well as their case studies.
เมื่อเร็วๆนี้ นายวิน วิริยประไพกิจ กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) นำคณะผู้บริหารและพนักงานเข้าฟังการบรรยาย เรื่อง “ความคุ้มค่า และอรรถประโยชน์ในการก่อสร้างด้วยโครงสร้างเหล็ก” โดยมี คุณณัฐพล สุทธิธรรม Vice President, IMMS Co., Ltd (Thailand) เป็นวิทยากร ณ ห้องสัมมนาใหญ่ บจก.กลุ่มเหล็กสหวิริยา พระราม 3 ซึ่งมีผู้บริหาร และพนักงาน เข้าร่วมจำนวนกว่า 100 คน ทั้งนี้ผู้เข้าร่วมสัมมนาได้มีโอกาสเรียนรู้รายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับการก่อสร้างด้วยโครงสร้างเหล็ก แผนกลยุทธพัฒนางานที่ทำจากเหล็กของสถาบันเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าแห่งประเทศไทย และกรณีศึกษาต่างๆ อีกด้วย
