Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. joined hands with the Educational District Office, Prachuap Khirikhan, Area 1 to arrange the ‘Clean Technology Teachers’ training under topic of “Core of Environment Studies” for more than 60 teachers from various schools in Bang Saphan, Prachuap Khirikhan. The objectives were to make the teachers learnt and understood about the management of natural resource and environment in schools and communities in order to stimulate and create consciousness participation on global warming reduction, both directly and indirectly, and the knowledge gained can be transferred to the students effectively. The lecturers for this project which was held during November 28-30, 2008 at Western Hotel, Prachuap Khirikhan were Archan Surachai Kothmee, managing director of Rak Lok Company Limited and his team.
Clean Technology Teachers project is a project which focused on creation of learning and understanding process on application of technology available in local areas for effective management of garbage and wastes from various sources. It is also a pilot project to build up ideas for operation of “Prototype Recycled Bank” project that the Company planned to support and made it happen in the schools and communities of Bang Saphan in the future.
This training course was divided into 3 days. The first day was basic knowledge on environment, energy, garbage, water, global warming, operation to make zero garbage, garbage management types, operation procedures of garbage bank, management system, relevant document system, how to make bio-extract, how to condition waste water and make it to be clean water. The second day was group procedures and works on environment, learning station about media and media usage, example activities of 4 learning stations, energy, garbage, global warming and water. The third day was brain storming on operation plan for the environmentalist teachers, and etc.
เอสเอสไอสร้าง “ครูเทคโนโลยีสะอาด”
บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) ร่วมกับ สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เขต1 จัดกิจกรรมอบรมครูเทคโนโลยีสะอาด ในหัวข้อ “แกนนำสิ่งแวดล้อมศึกษา” ให้แก่คณะบุคลากรครูจากโรงเรียนต่างๆ ใน อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ รวมจำนวนกว่า 60 คน เพื่อส่งเสริมให้บุคลากรครูได้เรียนรู้และเกิดความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมในโรงเรียนและชุมชน เพื่อกระตุ้นให้เกิดจิตสำนึกในการมีส่วนร่วมลดปัญหาภาวะโลกร้อนทั้งแบบทางตรงและทางอ้อม รวมถึงสามารถนำความรู้ที่ได้กลับไปถ่ายทอดความสู่นักเรียนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพอีกด้วย โดยมี อาจารย์สุรชัย โคตมี กรรมการบริหารบริษัทรักษ์โลก จำกัด และคณะ มาร่วมเป็นวิทยากรถ่ายทอดความรู้ เมื่อวันที่ 28-30 พฤศจิกายน 2551 ณ โรงแรมเวสเทิร์น จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์
โครงการครูเทคโนโลยีสะอาด เป็นโครงการที่มุ่งเน้นให้เกิดการเรียนรู้และเข้าใจแนวทางการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีที่มีอยู่ในท้องถิ่นเข้ามาใช้จัดการขยะและของเสียจากแหล่งต่างๆ ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ รวมถึงเป็นโครงการให้ความรู้นำร่องสำหรับการต่อยอดความคิดสู่การดำเนินโครงการ “ธนาคารขยะรีไซเคิลต้นแบบ” ที่บริษัทฯ มีแผนงานสนับสนุนให้เกิดขึ้นในโรงเรียนและชุมชนบางสะพานต่อไปในอนาคต
สำหรับหลักสูตรการอบรมให้ความรู้ได้แบ่งออกเป็น 3 วัน ประกอบด้วยวันที่ 1 ความรู้พื้นฐานด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม พลังงาน ขยะ น้ำ โลกร้อน ปฎิบัติการขยะเป็นศูนย์ รูปแบบการจัดการขยะ วิธีการดำเนินงานธนาคารขยะ ระบบการจัดการ ระบบเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้อง การทำน้ำหมักชีวภาพ การปรับน้ำเสียให้เป็นน้ำดีจากขยะ วันที่ 2 กระบวนการกลุ่มกับการทำงานด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม สถานีเรียนรู้ ด้านสื่อ และการใช้สื่อ ตัวอย่างกิจกรรม 4 สถานีเรียนรู้ พลังงาน ขยะ โลกร้อน น้ำ และวันที่ 3 ระดมสมองคิดแผนปฎิบัติการสู่คุณครูนักอนุรักษ์ เป็นต้น
