Arsa Bangsaphan youth group arranges the 2nd charity activity, helps vulnerable people
Arsa Bangsaphan youth group collaborated in screening T-shirt to sell in “Bangsaphan Tourism Fair 2012” at Bangsaphan District office, Prachuap Khiri Khan. The activity was aimed at collecting donations to help vulnerable people in the society. This was the 2nd activity under Youth Volunteering Project for Society” which was supported by Sahaviriya Group in order to encourage Bangsaphan youth to contribute to the society and people who are in need of help, make good use of their free time and stay away from drugs.

ช่วยเหลือผู้ด้อยโอกาส และ ประสบภัยสังคม
กลุ่มเยาวชนบางสะพานอาสา ร่วมกันสกรีนเสื้อยืดที่ระลึก เพื่อออกร้านจำหน่ายใน “งานท่องเที่ยวบางสะพาน ตำนานเมืองทอง ประจำปี 2555” ณ ที่ว่าการอำเภอบางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เพื่อหารายได้ไปมอบช่วยเหลือผู้ด้อยโอกาสและผู้ประสบภัยทางสังคม กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเป็นครั้งที่สองภายใต้ “โครงการเยาวชนอาสา ปันน้ำใจสู่สังคม” สนับสนุนโดย เครือสหวิริยา เพื่อปลูกฝังการมีจิตสาธารณะและการเอื้ออาทรต่อเพื่อนมนุษย์ ให้แก่เยาวชนในท้องถิ่น พร้อมทั้งส่งเสริมให้เยาวชนบางสะพานได้ใช้เวลาว่างให้เกิดประโยชน์ และห่างไกลสิ่งเสพติด
SSI receives “Excellent Cooperative Governance Certificate 2012”
Mr. Kanok Aroonrasamesopa, Assistant Vice President Human Resource & Administration of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (“SSI”), as the president of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Savings Cooperatives, received an honorable certificate for “Excellent Cooperative Governance 2012” from Ms. Wasana Sukrasorn, Director of Bangkok Cooperative Promotion Office of Area 1. This certificate of recognition is given to the cooperative who act as an exemplary good role model in term of adhering to principles of cooperative governance: rule of law, ethics, transparency, participation of members, responsibilities and worthiness. The ceremony was held at Chulalongkorn Saving Cooperatives Limited Office, Chulalongkorn University on 25 July 2012
เอสเอสไอรับ “เกียรติบัตรธรรมาภิบาลสหกรณ์ระดับดีมากประจำปี 2555”
นายกนก อรุณรัศมีโสภา ผู้จัดการทั่วไปสายทรัพยากรบุคคลและธุรการ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ และ ประธานสหกรณ์ออมทรัพย์สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด รับ “เกียรติบัตรผลการประเมินกำกับดูแลองค์กรที่ดีตามหลักธรรมาภิบาลสหกรณ์ ในระดับดีมาก ประจำปี 2555” จาก นางสาววาสนา ศุกระศร ผู้อำนวยการสำนักส่งเสริมสหกรณ์กรุงเทพมหานคร พื้นที่ 1 เพื่อเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีขององค์กรที่ปฏิบัติตามหลักธรรมาภิบาลสหกรณ์ อันได้แก่ หลักนิติธรรม หลักคุณธรรม หลักความโปร่งใส หลักการมีส่วนร่วมของสมาชิก หลักความรับผิดชอบและหลักความคุ้มค่า โดยพิธีรับมอบจัดขึ้น ณ สหกรณ์ออมทรัพย์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เมื่อวันที่ 25 กรกฎาคม 2555
SSI Volunteer: From working with planning to sharing knowledge for youth.
For more than four years that Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or “SSI” has cultivated substantial culture of volunteerism throughout the organization, and expanded this concept to all stakeholders to participate in social contributions.
Since 2009, the beginning of the “SSI Arsa,” the project was set up and channeled its actions to apply management and planning system to social and community projects, especially in volunteering activities which will be held 4 times per year. This system is essential for SSI staff’s working life, as it helps Bangsaphan Community to reap the fruits from volunteering activities.
Today…SSI Arsa has grown and blossom into “A hundred goodness, A thousand hearts of SSI Arsa,” a project that provides people in community with chances to participate and cooperate actively with the SSI staff in many activities to improve their own community, together with local media, entrepreneurs and Bangsaphan youth.
There is no doubt that today Wannaporn Pollsakul and her SSI Arsa’s friends are happy and enjoy teaching primary school children P4-P6 at Ban Tha Kham School, Bangsaphan which has won the national eco-school award, to learn about “Steel in everyday life” as a part of the local curriculum which will increase the children’s knowledge.
The “knowledge” that cannot be obtained elsewhere.
It is the “knowledge” that exists in their locality.
เอสเอสไออาสา: จากแผนงานสู่การลงมือทำในวันนั้น จนถึงการแบ่งปันความรู้สู่เยาวชนในวันนี้
นับเป็นเวลากว่าสี่ปีแล้วที่การบ่มเพาะวัฒนธรรมจิตอาสาให้เกิดขึ้นทั่วทั้งองค์กรของเอสเอสไอ หรือ บริษัทสหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) เป็นรูปธรรมให้เห็นเด่นชัด และได้ขยายผลไปสู่ผู้มีส่วนได้เสียให้มีส่วนร่วมในการทำประโยชน์เพื่อสังคมและชุมชนให้มากยิ่งขึ้น
จากจุดเริ่มต้นในปี 2551 โครงการ “เอสเอสไออาสา” เกิดขึ้นด้วยภายใต้แนวคิดการนำระบบจัดการและการวางแผนมาประยุกต์ใช้กับโครงการเพื่อสังคมและชุมชนโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งกิจกรรมพนักงานอาสา ด้วยจำนวนกิจกรรมเอสเอสไออาสาพัฒนาชุมชนปีละ 4 ครั้ง ระบบจัดการและการวางแผนซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่สำคัญในการปฏิบัติงานของชาวเอสเอสไอนี้ ทำให้ชุมชนบางสะพานสามารถเก็บเกี่ยวประโยชน์จากการดำเนินการกิจกรรมพัฒนาดังกล่าวได้มากที่สุด
วันนี้…เอสเอสไออาสาได้เติบโตเบ่งบานไปสู่ โครงการ “ร้อยความดี พันดวงใจ เอสเอสไออาสา” ที่เปิดโอกาสให้พี่น้องในชุมชนร่วมไม้ร่วมมืออย่างแข็งขันกับพนักงานอาสาพัฒนาท้องถิ่นอันเป็นบ้านเกิดของตนเองมากขึ้น เช่นเดียวกับกิจกรรมอาสาที่เป็นความร่วมมือกับสื่อมวลชนท้องถิ่น ผู้ประกอบการร้านค้า และยุวชนบางสะพาน อีกหลายกิจกรรม
และไม่แปลกเลยที่วันนี้ วรรณพร พูลสกุล และเพื่อนพนักงานเอสเอสไออาสา กำลังมีความสุขและขมักเขม้นกับการเป็น “ครูอาสา”สอนน้องๆ ระดับชั้นประถม 4-6 โรงเรียนบ้านท่าขาม อำเภอบางสะพาน ซึ่งเป็นโรงเรียนเศรษฐนิเวศน์ (Eco-School) รางวัลชนะเลิศระดับประถมศึกษาของประเทศ ให้เรียนรู้เรื่อง “เหล็ก…ในชีวิตประจำวัน” อันเป็นส่วนเสริมในหลักสูตรท้องถิ่นของโรงเรียน ให้เด็กๆได้มีองค์ความรู้เพิ่มขึ้น
เป็น“คลังความรู้”ที่ไม่สามารถหาได้จากที่อื่นใด
แต่เป็น“คลังความรู้”ที่มีอยู่ในท้องถิ่นของตน
