ฯพณฯ นายกรัฐมนตรี นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร รับมอบ “เรือเหล็กนวัตกรรม” ช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยน้ำท่วม จำนวน 100 ลำ มูลค่า 1 ล้านบาท จาก นายสมชาย สกุลสุรรัตน์ รองประธานกรรมการ บริษั สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ในฐานะผู้แทนกลุ่มบริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) ประกอบด้วย SSI-WCE-BSM ร่วมด้วยวิทยาลัยการอาชีพบางสะพาน ณ ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยน้ำท่วม ดอนเมือง เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้
“เรือเหล็กนวัตกรรม” เป็นเรืออเนกประสงค์ที่เอสเอสไอออกแบบและสร้างสรรค์ขึ้นเป็นพิเศษ เพื่อใช้เป็นพาหนะที่มีความคล่องตัวในการเคลื่อนย้ายคนหรือสิ่งของช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยน้ำท่วมนอกจากนี้ ยังสามารถ ดัดแปลง ต่อกัน เป็นเรือ หรือ แพขนาดใหญ่ และเมื่อเลิกใช้ภารกิจเป็นเรือแล้ว ยังมีอรรถประโยชน์ใช้เป็นชั้นวางหนังสือ หรือ ตู้เก็บของเก็บได้อีกด้วย
SSI, Students, Parents, and Teachers in Maerampung Sub-District join Social Services Volunteer Network
Sahaviriya Steel Industry Co.,Ltd. (“SSI”) joined with grade 4 to 6 students, parents, and teachers of Ban-Tha-Kham School and Ban-Ao-Yang School, and residents near Tha-Ma-Nao Temple, to address and participate social services at Tha-Ma-Nao Temple, Bangsaphan District, Prachuab-Khirikhan Province, on October 6, 2011. The services contribution comprised of trees planting, landscape improvement, and cleaning by above 70 actively engaged participants. This volunteer network recognizing the local cooperation for community, can also foster social responsibility culture among youth.

บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับ นักเรียนชั้น ป.4 – ป.6 ผู้ปกครอง และครู จากโรงเรียนบ้านท่าขาม โรงเรียนบ้านอ่าวยาง และชาวบ้านที่อาศัยอยู่รอบ ๆ วัดท่ามะนาว ร่วมกันทำกิจกรรมอาสา ณ วัดท่ามะนาว ต.แม่รำพึง อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เมื่อวันที่ 6 ตุลาคม 2554 ได้แก่ ปลูกต้นไม้ ปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์ และทำความสะอาด โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างแข็งขัน กว่า 70 คน กิจกรรมเครือข่ายอาสาซึ่งเป็นการร่วมมือของคนในท้องถิ่นเพื่อชุมชนยังช่วยปลูกฝังวัฒนธรรมความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมให้แก่เยาวชนด้วย

Brooms Making Becomes More Than a Hobby for Bangsaphan Children and Parents
Sahaviriya Steel Industry Co.,Ltd. (“SSI”) supported hobby training on broom making for 59 students and parents from Ban-Tha-Kham school. The training was held on October 7 – 8,2011 at Ban-Tha-Kham School, Bangsaphan District, Prachuab Khirikhan Province. SSI held this event to support reusing and recycling natural materials in local community to make brooms which are common household items. Having passed the training, participants get brooms back for their homes, and retain skills to make them more. Besides, this hobby activity helps fostering relationship between children and their parents, as well as inspires children to utilize their time for sustainable lifestyle. This is another activity of SSI supports to students in Bangsaphan District through the campaign of “ SSI cares for little brothers”.
การทำไม้กวาดไม่ใช่เพียงแค่งานอดิเรกสำหรับนักเรียนและผู้ปกครองที่บางสะพาน
บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ สนับสนุนการอบรมงานอดิเรกทำไม้กวาดทางมะพร้าวให้กับนักเรียนและผู้ปกครองโรงเรียนบ้านท่าขามจำนวน 59 คน เมื่อวันที่ 7-8 ตุลาคม 2554 ณ โรงเรียนบ้านท่าขาม ต.แม่รำพึง อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เพื่อใช้วัสดุที่มีอยู่ในท้องถิ่นทำเป็นไม้กวาด ผู้ที่ผ่านการอบรมได้นำไม้กวาดที่ตนเองได้ทำกลับไปใช้งานที่บ้านและยังได้ทักษะในการทำเพิ่มได้อีก นอกจากนั้น กิจกรรมส่งเสริมงานอดิเรกนี้ยังช่วยเสริมสร้างสัมพันธภาพที่ดีระหว่างเด็กและผู้ปกครอง อีกทั้งยังสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้เด็กรู้จักใช้เวลาอย่างเป็นประโยชน์สำหรับการดำรงตนแบบพอเพียง ซึ่งเป็นอีกกิจกรรมหนึ่งที่เอสเอสไอได้ดำเนินการให้กับนักเรียนในพื้นที่อำเภออบางสะพาน ภายใต้โครงการ “จากใจเอสเอสไอถึงน้องน้อย”
SSI-TCRSS-BSL-SUS jointly organizes Thailand Iron Man Mini Marathon 2011
Mr. Nava Chantanasurakon, Vice President of Saviriya Steel Industries Plc.(SSI),Mr. Yongyuth Malithong, Vice President of Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Plc.(TCRSS), Mr. Korrakod Padungjit, Vice President – Public Affairs of BlueScope Steel (Thailand) Ltd., and Mr. Jeeradej Satayayut, Production Planning General Manager of Siam United Steel (1995) Co.,Ltd., jointly held a Press Conference to announce the 4th Thailand Iron Man Mini Marathon 2011 at Evergreen Lorel, Bangkok on 4 October 2011. The conference was well attended by many representatives from the press and associations, foundations, and institutes whose works concern aiding of the vulnerable people.
The 4 steel manufacturers, SSI-TCRSS-BSL-SUS, have continuously organized this annual charity event, Thailand Iron Man Mini Marathon, along with the support from public and private organizations. All of donation and fund raised from the event without any expense deduction have been contributed to support and strengthen the disable persons. This charity cooperation during the past 3 years has successfully raised total 6.1 million Baht fund donated to 18 organizations for vulnerable people. Furthermore, this event also encourages and promote the value of exercise among employees of steel company and people
The 4th Thailand Iron Man Mini Marathon 2011 will be held on Saturday 5th November 2011 at Smiling Sun Ground, Lumpini Park, Bangkok.

ผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมเหล็กทั้ง 4 ราย ได้แก่ SSI-TCRSS-BSL-SUS ได้ร่วมมือกันจัดการแข่งขันเดิน-วิ่งการกุศล Thailand Iron Man Mini Marathon อย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นประจำทุกปี เพื่อนำเงินรายได้ทั้งหมดโดยไม่หักค่าใช้จ่าย ไปบริจาคให้แก่สมาคม มูลนิธิ หน่วยงาน สถาบันการศึกษาต่างๆ ที่ดำเนินการช่วยเหลือและเสริมสร้างความแข็งแกร่งแก่ผู้ด้อยโอกาสและผู้พิการ โดยจากการจัดกิจกรรมดังกล่าวอย่างต่อเนื่องมา 3 ปีแล้ว ได้เงินบริจาคสะสมรวมมากถึง 6.1 ล้านบาท มอบให้แก่ 18 องค์กรการกุศล นอกจากนั้น ยังเป็นการรณรงค์ให้พนักงาน ตลอดจนประชาชนทั่วไปเล็งเห็นความสำคัญของการออกกำลังกายเพื่อสุขภาพด้วยการเดิน-วิ่ง

SSI Donated Baht 400,000 towards the Flood Relief Effort
Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited or SSI by Mr. Nava Chantanasurakon, Vice President, Public Affairs and Social Responsibility Division (middle) presented Baht 400,000 towards OPM Disaster Relief Fund represented by Mr. Teerapat Santimataneedol , Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister (left) to help flood victims in Thailand, at the Government House recently. This contribution is one among SSI’s various activities implemented responsibly to social and communities since started business.
