SSI-SVG Donate to Friends in need of (“PA”) Volunteers Foundation to Relief Flood Disaster
Professor Damrong Reinprayoon, Vice President of Friends in need of (“PA”) Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross Society, recently received the monetary support which is from the revenue of Bangsaphan International Triathlon 2010’s donation activity, from Khun Nava Chantanasurakhon, Vice President- Public Affairs and Social Responsibility Division of Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC(SSI). The objective is to relief the troubled people from flooding in the North and Central region.

ศ.นพ.ดำรง เหรียญประยูร รองประธาน มูลนิธิ อาสาเพื่อนพึ่ง(ภาฯ)ยามยาก รับมอบเงินสมทบทุนจากโครงการ “ว่าย ปั่น วิ่ง … แบ่งปันผู้ด้อยโอกาส ” ซึ่งเป็นการร่วมบริจาคของพนักงานบริษัทในเครือสหวิริยาและผู้ร่วมการแข่งขัน “ฅนเหล็กบางสะพาน ไตรกีฬานานาชาติ 2553 ” เพื่อสนับสนุน มูลนิธิอาสาเพื่อนพึ่ง(ภาฯ)ยามยาก สภากาชาดไทย ช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบอุทกภัย ในพื้นที่ต่างๆ โดยมีนายนาวา จันทรสุรคน ผู้บริหารเครือสหวิริยา และ ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัทสหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือเอสเอสไอเป็นตัวแทน มอบเงิน ณ สำนักงานอาสากาชาด สภากาชาดไทย
12th SSI Happiness Caravan at Ron-Thong
Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL or SSI arranged the 12th Happiness Caravan at Baan Wangnumkeaw School, Moo 7, Tambon Ron Thong, Amphoe Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khirikhan. There were 200 people participated in many services rendering, such as physical and dental examination, barber service, engine oil change, electric appliances repair services and entertainment activities.
This event was presided over by Mr. Nikorn Phonoi, Chief Executive of Sub-district Administrative Organization of Ron Thong. This project is one of social outreach programs which SSI continually supports with aims to create better quality of life of Bangsaphan people as well as to make them healthy both physically and mentally and to reduce cost needed in daily life. Another important goal is to build good relationship between employees and communities including the company and the government agencies in Bangsaphan area.
คาราวานความสุข เอสเอสไอ ปีสองที่ร่อนทอง
บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จัดกิจกรรม คาราวานความสุขเอสเอสไอครั้งที่ 12 โรงเรียนบ้านวังน้ำเขียว หมู่ 7 บ้านวังน้ำเขียว ตำบลร่อนทอง อำเภอบางสะพาน ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยมีประชาชนในพื้นที่ 200 คน เข้าร่วมรับบริการในรูปแบบต่างๆ คือ การตรวจสุขภาพร่างกาย และช่องปาก บริการตัดผม บริการเปลี่ยนถ่ายน้ำมันเครื่องรถจักรยานยนต์ ตรวจซ่อมเครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าและอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และกิจกรรมสันทนาการต่างๆ
กิจกรรมคาราวานความสุขเอสเอสไอทั้งสองแห่งได้รับเกียรติจาก นายนิกร โพธิ์น้อย นายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลร่อนทองเป็นประธานเปิดงาน กิจกรรมดังกล่าว เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคมของเอสเอสไอโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างให้ประชาชนในชุมชนมีความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีขึ้น มีสุขภาพกายสุขภาพใจที่ดี ช่วยลดค่าใช้จ่ายที่จำเป็นในชีวิตประจำวัน รวมไปถึงเป็นการสร้างสัมพันธภาพที่ดีระหว่างพนักงานบริษัทฯกับคนในชุมชน ตลอดจนเป็นการสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนต่างๆภายในอำเภอบางสะพานให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น
SSI Signed Agreement with TSNC to Become an Authorized Network Partner on Steel Properties Testing Services
Mr. Thinnakorn Phadungwong, Assistant Vice President, Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL. (SSI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Dr. Santisuk Plouksawat, Director of Technical Service Network Center (TSNC), Ministry of Industry to support the operations of this Center in order to develop potentials and to increase Thai technical services to be able to compete with the international level. There are 2 types of quality testing services provided for industrial materials which have steel as their main components: industrial materials properties test and industrial materials failure analysis test which are required to have an investigation to find its root cause of the problem, leading to the step of product and process development for the industrial manufacturers at the Iron and Steel Institute of Thailand.

นายทินกร ผดุงวงศ์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไปสายการผลิต บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี (SSI) ร่วมลงนามในบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ กับ ดร.สันติสุข ปลูกสวัสดิ์ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์เครือข่ายบริการทดสอบ วิเคราะห์ วิจัย ด้านอุตสาหกรรม (Technical Service Network Center: TSNC) กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม สนับสนุนดำเนินการงานบริการทดสอบ วิเคราะห์ และวิจัยพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ด้านอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพและยกระดับความสามารถด้านการทดสอบ วิเคราะห์ และวิจัยพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ด้านอุตสาหกรรมของไทยให้สามารถแข่งขันกับนานาประเทศได้ โดยให้บริการทดสอบคุณสมบัติวัสดุอุตสาหกรรมที่มีเหล็กเป็นส่วนประกอบหลักใน 2 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ การทดสอบสมบัติของวัสดุอุตสาหกรรม และการทดสอบเพื่อวิเคราะห์ความเสียหายของวัสดุอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อตรวจสอบหาสาเหตุ และนำไปสู่กระบวนการปรับปรุงคุณภาพผลิตภัณฑ์และกระบวนการผลิตให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมต่อไป ณ สถาบันเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าแห่งประเทศไทย
SSI-TCRSS-BSL-SUS jointly organizes Thailand Iron Man Mini Marathon 2010
Mr. Nava Chantanasurakon, Vice President of Saviriya Steel Industries Plc.(SSI), Mr. Narongrit Chotnuchittrakul, Vice President of Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Plc.(TCRSS), Mr. Korrakod Padungjit, Vice President Public Affairs, BlueScope Steel (Thailand) Ltd. and Mr.Vitan Suntichaiyakul, representative of The Siam United Steel (1995) Co.,Ltd., jointly held a Press Conference to introduce the 3rd Thailand Iron Man Mini Marathon 2010 at Evergreen Lorel, Bangkok on 30 September 2010. The conference was well attended by many representatives from the press and associations, foundations, educational institutes whose works concern aiding of the less-privilege and disable.
The 3rd Thailand Iron Man Mini Marathon 2010 is organized by SSI-TCRSS-BSL-SUS , along with the support from public and private organizations. It will be held on Saturday 16th October 2010 at Smiling Sun Ground, Lumpini Park, Bangkok. Not only to encourage and promote the value of exercise among employees of steel company and people but all of income raised from this activity also be contributed to support and strengthen the less-privileged people.

Thailand Iron Man Mini Marathon 2010 ครั้งที่ 3 จัดขึ้นโดยความร่วมมือระหว่างผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมเหล็ก 4 ราย ได้แก่ SSI-TCRSS-BSL-SUS โดยจะจัดให้มีการแข่งขันเดิน-วิ่งการกุศล ในวันเสาร์ที่ 16 ตุลาคม 2553 ณ ลานตะวันยิ้ม (Smiling Sun Ground) สวนลุมพินี กรุงเทพฯ และเช่นเคยนอกจากรณรงค์ให้พนักงาน ตลอดจนประชาชนทั่วไปเล็งเห็นความสำคัญของการออกกำลังกายเพื่อสุขภาพด้วยการ เดิน-วิ่ง แล้ว เงินรายได้โดยไม่หักค่าใช้จ่ายจากการจัดกิจกรรมนี้จะนำไป ช่วยเหลือกิจกรรมของสมาคม มูลนิธิ หน่วยงาน สถาบันการศึกษาที่ดำเนินกิจกรรมเกี่ยวข้องกับการช่วยเหลือและเสริมสร้างความแข็งแกร่ง แก่ผู้ด้อยโอกาสและผู้พิการอีกด้วย
