Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL or SSI has been arranged SSI Happiness Caravan since the beginning of the year 2009. The purpose to serve free mobile clinic Bangsaphan people (physical, diabetes, blood pressure examination, and dentistry), barber services, motorcycle repair services i.e. engine oil change, electric appliances repair services and entertainment activities.
This project had cooperation with Mae-Ramphung Health Station, Bangsaphan Hospital, Bangsaphan-noi Hospital and Bangsaphan Technology College of Iron and Steel Management. Mr.Surasak Singhkiwiboon, Mae-Rumphung village headman – was presided over the 8th “SSI Happiness Caravan” More than 150 people came to receive free mobile service at Multipurpose Hall, Moo 8 ( Ban-Lang ) Tambol Mae-Rumphung, Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khirikhan.
This is project that SSI and staff are committed to an ongoing support to the communities for their better quality living through number of social outreach programs, in order to make them to be healthy both physically and mentally, reduce cost needed in daily life. An important thing is to built a good relationship between employees and communities including the company and the government agencies in Bangsaphan area.

บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด(มหาชน)หรือ เอสเอสไอ เริ่มดำเนินการจัดโครงการคาราวานความสุข เอสเอสไอมาตั้งแต่ปี 2552 โดยจัดกิจกรรมต่างๆเพื่อให้บริการประชาชนในพื้นที่อำเภอบางสะพาน อาทิ บริการตรวจคัดกรองเบาหวาน ตรวจวัดความดันโลหิต ตรวจสุขภาพขั้นพื้นฐาน บริการด้านทันตกรรม บริการตัดผม บริการเปลี่ยนถ่ายน้ำมันเครื่อง ตรวจซ่อมเครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าและอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และกิจกรรมสันทนาการต่างๆ
โครงการคาราวานความสุข เอสเอสไอ ครั้งที่ 8 ที่ตำบลแม่รำพึงได้รับความร่วมมือเป็นอย่างดีจากสถานีอนามัยตำบลแม่รำพึง โรงพยาบาลบางสะพาน โรงพยาบาลบางสะพานน้อย วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีการจัดการเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าบางสะพาน โดยได้รับเกียรติจากนายสุรศักดิ์ สิงคิวิบูลย์ กำนันตำบลแม่รำพึงเป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงาน โดยมีประชาชนในพื้นที่ตำบลแม่รำพึง สนใจเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมกว่า 150 คน ณ ศาลาเอนกประสงค์ หมู่ 8 บ้านล่าง ต.แม่รำพึง อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์
Mr. Apinan Chantharangsri, Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khirikhan Province praised and congratulated Miss Sudarat Chooseng, the 3rd Elementary Level (Pathom Suksa 3) of Ban Nai Lock School, Thongmongkol Subdistrict, Bangsaphan District, Prachuap Khirikhan, the winner of Sahaviriya Challenge and one of the representatives from Bangsaphan District who participated in Thailand Mathematic Competition or “Smart Kid Challenge” arranged by Math Challenge Institute and Baan Chalard Roo. She won the first runner up prize in the 3rd- 4th Elementary Levels and brought fame to Prachuap Khirikhan youth.
นายอภินันท์ จันทรังษี รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ กล่าวให้โอวาทและร่วมแสดงความยินดีแก่เด็กหญิงสุดารัตน์ ชูเส้ง นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 จากโรงเรียนบ้านในล็อค ต.ทองมงคล อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ซึ่งเป็นผู้ชนะเลิศการแข่งขันสหวิริยาชาเลนจ์ และเป็นหนึ่งตัวแทนของอำเภอบางสะพาน ที่ร่วมแข่งขันคณิตคิดประลองชิงแชมป์ประเทศไทย “สมาร์ทคิดส์ แชลเลนจ์” จัดโดยสถาบันคณิตคิดประลองและบ้านฉลาดรู้ และสามารถคว้ารองชนะเลิศอันดับหนึ่ง รุ่นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 – 4 มาได้ สร้างชื่อเสียงให้กับเยาวชนประจวบคีรีขันธ์
