Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL. or SSI represented by Khun Nava Chantanasurakon, Vice President Human Resource & Administration, recently received the Samakunupakran honorary coin and the Certificate of honor from Khun Jurin Ruksanavisit, Education Minister, at The Teachers Council Hall. The presentation was arranged in recognition and appreciation of the private sector’s significant contribution to Ministry of Education.

In order to enhance good relationship with the press, Khun Win Viriyaprapaikit, President of Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL. or SSI and Directors of Sahaviriya Group together with Managers attended the Friendship Football Match against Matichon Group team led by Khun Tharkun Boonpan, and Khun Sompratana Klaywichien, Executive Editor of Kao Sod Newspaper and Prachart Durakij Newspaper respectively. This match was played at Bangkok Sport Center, Prachaniwet . Matichon Group team won the match by the score of 2-1 and earned the trophy.

Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL with the cooperation of the Educational District Office, Prachuap Khirikhan, Area 1 held the ‘Teacher Development Project’ to reach standard of teaching ability in each subjects. This project has been divided in to 3 phases. The second phase was held in the topic of “Development of Excellent Education System” for more than 160 teachers from various schools in Bang Saphan, Prachuap Khirikhan at Saphan Thong Room, Western Hotel, Prachuap Khirikhan, presided over by Khun Chalermpon Pinthong, Deputy Director of Educational District Office and Khun Thinnakorn Phadungwong, Assistant Vice President – Manufacturing (Operation 2) of SSI. The objectives were to enhance the quality of local education and develop teacher career of Prachuap Khirikhan province.
