211 Teams Gathered to Listen to Rules on ‘SSI Steel House Contest 2008’

steel-house              Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or SSI arranged the special seminar to clarify details concerning the rules on submission of works in “SSI Steel House Contest 2008” under the concept of ‘the Innovative Living Steel’ at TK Park, Central World, Bangkok to 211 teams which comprising of 93 teams of architects and engineers profession level and 118 teams of student levels from all over the country. Mr. Wikrom Vajragupta, Director of the Iron & Steel Institute of Thailand, Mr. Win Viriyaprapaikit, President of SSI, Mr. Nattaphol Sutthidharm, Vice President of IMMS Company Limited and Mr. Jedkamchorn Phromyothi, Vice President of Foreign Affairs Department of Thai Condominium Association jointly provided information in each aspects and the participants can make enquiries regarding the project and conditions on submission of work.

        บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ จัดสัมมนาพิเศษเพื่อชี้แจงรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับกติกาการส่งผลงาน ในโครงการประกวดออกแบบบ้านเหล็ก “SSI Steel House Contest 2008” ภายใต้แนวคิด “นวัตกรรมบ้านเหล็กที่อยู่อาศัยแห่งอนาคต” ให้แก่ผู้สมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการจำนวน 211 ทีม แบ่งออกเป็นระดับสถาปนิก วิศวกร 93 ทีม และระดับนิสิต นักศึกษา 118 ทีม จากทั่วประเทศ โดยมี นายวิกรม วัชระคุปต์ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าแห่งประเทศไทย นายวิน วิริยประไพกิจ กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี นายณัฐพล สุทธิธรรม รองประธานกรรมการ บ.ไอเอ็มเอ็มเอส จำกัด และนายเจตกำจร พรหมโยธี อุปนายกสมาคมฝ่ายต่างประเทศ สมาคมอาคารชุดไทย มาร่วมให้ข้อมูลในแต่ละด้านโดยเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานซักถามข้อสงสัยเกี่ยวกับการโครงการและเงื่อนไขการส่งผลงาน ณ อุทยานการเรียนรู้ (TK PARK) ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัลเวิลด์ กรุงเทพฯ

SSI Presented Encyclopedia to 43 Schools in Bang Saphan – SSI มอบสารานุกรม43โรงเรียนบางสะพาน

According to “SSI to Open Intellectual Treasury” Project, Mr. Kittisak Mapanao, Vice President, Manufacturing Division and Management team of SSI presented Britannica Concise Encyclopedia, in Thai version, worth some 430,000 Bath to 43 educational institutes in areas of Amphur Bang Saphan, presided over by Somchai Sangsuwan, director of Educational District Office Prachuap Khirikhan, Area 1.The event took place at SSI Audithorium. This encyclopedia has a popular reputation for summarizing all of human knowledge more than 52 subjects and can also be served as self learning source of the youth in the local areas. Such activity is one of the policies to help developing the educational quality of the communities.

“เอสเอสไอเปิดคลังปัญญาสารานุกรมไทย” โดยมอบสารานุกรม (Britannica Concise Encyclopedia) ภาคภาษาไทย ซึ่งเป็นสารานุกรมที่รวบรวมสาระความรู้กว่า 52 สาขาวิชา ให้แก่โรงเรียนในเขตอำเภอบางสะพานจำนวน 43 แห่ง รวมมูลค่าทั้งสิ้น 430,000 บาท ทั้งนี้เพื่อสนับสนุนแหล่งการเรียนรู้และเพิ่มพูนปัญญาด้วยตนเองให้แก่ เยาวชนในท้องถิ่น โดยมี สมชาย แสงสุวรรณ ผอ.สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เขต1 ให้เกียรติเข้าร่วมในพิธี ณ ห้องประชุมออดิทอเรียม บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เมื่อเร็วๆนี้

SSI Supported Local Education and Development of Teacher Career

teacher-developmentSahaviriya Steel Industries PCL with the cooperation of the Educational District Office, Prachuap Khirikhan, Area 1 held the ‘Teacher Development Project’ to reach standard of teaching ability in each subjects. This project has been divided in to 3 phases.
The first phase was held under topic “Teacher Development Tool ‘s Planning” for more than 160 teachers from various schools in Bang Saphan, Prachuap Khirikhan during January 12-13, 2008 at Saphan Thong Room, Western Hotel, Prachuap Khirikhan . The open ceremony were presided over by Somchai Sangsuwan, director of Educational District Office and Thinnakorn Phadungwong, Assistant Vice President – Manufacturing (Operation 2) of Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL. The objectives were to enhance a quality of local education and to develop teacher career of Prachuap Khirikhan province.

เอสเอสไอส่งเสริมด้านการศึกษา พัฒนาวิชาชีพครู

บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือเอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับ สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษา ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เขต 1 จัดโครงการพัฒนาความรู้ข้าราชการครูเพื่อยกระดับความสามารถทางการสอนตามรายวิชาสู่มาตรฐานวิชาชีพขึ้น กำหนดเป็นหลักสูตร 3 ระยะ

       สำหรับการอบรมระยะที่ 1 นี้ จัดขึ้น ในหัวข้อ “การวางแผนจัดทำเครื่องมือพัฒนาครูให้มีความสามารถในการสอนตามรายวิชา” ให้แก่ ครูผู้สอนสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษา ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เขต 1 ( 4 อำเภอ ) จำนวน 160 คน เมื่อวันที่ 12 – 13 มกราคม 2552 ณ ห้องสะพานทอง โรงแรมเวสเทิร์น อำเภอบางสะพาน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นายสมชาย แสงสุวรรณ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษา ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เขต 1 ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานเปิดการอบรม สำหรับการอบรมดังกล่าว มีเป้าหมายเพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพการศึกษาของนักเรียน และพัฒนาวิชาชีพครูของจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ต่อไป

“Nong Lek Khao” Joined in National Children’s Day” at Mahidol University “น้องเหล็กขาว” ตะลุยงานวันเด็กแห่งชาติที่มหิดล

“Nong Lek Khao or White Strip”, a mascot which represent Cold Rolled Coils product, a new SSI product, joined in a National Children’s Day” at Mahidol University, Phuttamonthon Sai 4 Road, Salaya, Nakornpathom on January 10, 2009. There were a lot of game, activity and distribution of prizes to the 3,000 or more children who came to the university that day such as singing contest, story telling, speech contest, music performances, outdoor activities, as well as making hand-made book etc.
The objective of this event is to give Children an opportunity to express their interests in diverse kind of activities.

น้องเหล็กขาวตะลุยงานวันเด็กแห่งชาติที่มหิดลp1100137
น้องเหล็กขาวหรือ “White Strip” โดยใช้เป็นสัญลักษณ์ตัวแทนของผลิตภัณฑ์ Cold Rolled Coils หรือ เหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นชนิดม้วน ซึ่งเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์น้องใหม่ของเอสเอสไอ เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมและสร้างสีสรรในงานวันเด็กแห่งชาติที่ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ศาลายา นครปฐม เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 10 มกราคม 2552 ที่ผ่านมา โดยภายในงานได้จัดให้มีกิจกรรมและแจกของรางวัลให้กับเด็กๆที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมกว่า 3,000 คนมากมาย อาทิ การประกวดร้องเพลง การเล่านิทาน ประกวดสุนทรพจน์ การแสดงดนตรี กิจกรรมกลางแจ้ง ร่วมถึงการประกวดหนังสือทำมือ เป็นต้น
การจัดกิจกรรมดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเกิดโอกาสให้เด็กๆได้แสดงออกผ่านกิจกรรมที่สนใจในรูปแบบกิจกรรมที่หลายหลายกันออกไป

More Than 200 Teams of Architects-Students Participated in SSI Steel House Contest สถาปนิก-นักศึกษาร่วมโครงการประกวดออกแบบบ้านเหล็กSSIกว่า 200 ทีม

After Sahaviriya Steel Industries Pic. or SSI with cooperation of the Iron & Steel Institute of Thailand have arranged the “SSI Steel House Contest, the Innovative Living Steel”, and which the winner will be graciously received the trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, many road-shows have been organized to publicize and invite the university students of the Faculties of Architecture and Engineering at various universities to join in this contest. Consequently, on the closing of the application submission date which was on December 31, 2008, there were 93 professional level teams and 110 student level teams participated in this contest, or totally 203 teams altogether.

In addition, SSI shall arrange the special seminar to provide details and requirements on “Steel House Contest, the Innovative Living Steel” to all teams participating in this contest on Wednesday 14th January 2009 at TK Park, Central World, Bangkok.

สถาปนิก-นักศึกษาร่วมโครงการประกวดออกแบบบ้านเหล็กSSIกว่า 200 ทีม

หลังจากที่ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือเอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับสถาบันเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าแห่งประเทศไทยจัดโครงการประกวดออกแบบบ้านเหล็ก “นวัตกรรมที่อยู่อาศัยแห่งอนาคต” โดยได้รับพระกรุณาธิคุณจาก สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี พระราชทานถ้วยรางวัลชนะเลิศสำหรับการประกวด โดยโครงการดังกล่าวได้จัดให้มีการโรดโชว์ประชาสัมพันธ์เชิญชวน นิสิต นักศึกษา คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์และวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ในมหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆ และปิดรับสมัครผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการเมื่อวันที่ 31 ธันวาคมที่ผ่านมา ปรากฏว่าทีมที่สมัครในระดับอาชีพจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 93 ทีม และ ในระดับนิสิตนักศึกษา จำนวน 110 ทีม รวมทั้งสิ้นจำนวน 203 ทีม

ทั้งนี้บริษัทฯจะจัดให้มีการสัมมนาพิเศษโครงการประกวดการออกแบบบ้านเหล็ก นวัตกรรมบ้านเหล็กที่อยู่อาศัยแห่งอนาคต (Innovative Living Steel) ให้กับทีมที่สมัครเข้าประกวดทั้งหมด ให้ทราบรายละเอียดและข้อกำหนดต่างๆ ในวันพุธที่ 14 มกราคม 2552 ณ อุทยานการเรียนรู้ (TK Park) เซ็นทรัลเวิลด์ กรุงเทพฯ
