TCRSS wins Prestigious Thailand Energy Award 2013

Prime Minister, H.E. Yingluck Shinawatra presents Prestigious Thailand Energy Award 2013 for designated factory in Energy Conservation from the Ministry of Energy to Mr. Nava Chantanasurakon, President of Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Public Company Limited (TCRSS), an affiliate of SSI Group, as the company can manage energy efficiency in accordance with the company’s vision “To be the excellent cold rolled steel mill with excellent teamwork.” The award giving ceremony was held at Santi Maitree Building, Government House, on September 18, 2013.

          นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร ฯพณฯ นายกรัฐมนตรี มอบรางวัล Thailand Energy Award 2013 ด้านอนุรักษ์พลังงานดีเด่น ประเภทโรงงานควบคุมดีเด่น จากกระทรวงพลังงานแก่ นายนาวา จันทนสุรคน กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท เหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัทในกลุ่มเอสเอสไอ ในฐานะที่สามารถบริหารจัดการ ด้านการใช้พลังงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและคุ้มค่า ตามวิสัยทัศน์มุ่งเป็นผู้ผลิตเหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นชั้นเลิศ ด้วยทีมงานที่ยอดเยี่ยม ณ ตึกสันติไมตรี ทำเนียบรัฐบาล เมื่อวันที่ 18 กันยายน 2556

SSI wins Prestigious Labour Welfare/Relations Award

          Mr. Arthit Ismo, Director-General of Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, hands over the National Prestigious Industrial Establishment Award for Outstanding Labour Welfare/Relations Category for 10 consecutive years (2004-2013) with no labour union type, to Mr. Yongyuth Malithong (3rd left), Acting Vice President Human Resources and Administration Division, Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SSI). Moreover, affiliates under SSI Group, including Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Public Company Limited (TCRSS) and West Coast Engineering Co., Ltd., (WCE) also receive the award for 5 consecutive years (2009-2013) in middle size organization with no labour union type. The award giving ceremony was held at Grand Diamond Ballroom, IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center on 13 September 2013
เอสเอสไอคว้ารางวัลเกียรติยศแรงงานสัมพันธ์
          นายอาทิตย์ อิสโม อธิบดีกรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานมอบรางวัลเกียรติยศสถานประกอบกิจการดีเด่นด้านแรงงานสัมพันธ์ และสวัสดิการแรงงาน 10 ปีติดต่อกัน (พ.ศ.2547-พ.ศ.2556) ประเภทไม่มีสหภาพแรงงาน (ติดต่อกันสองปีซ้อน)แก่ นายยงยุทธ มลิทอง (ที่ 3 จากซ้าย) รักษาการผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ สายทรัพยากรบุคคลและธุรการ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ นอกจากนี้ยังมีบริษัทในกลุ่มเอสเอสไอ ได้แก่ บริษัท เหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ TCRSS และบริษัท เวสท์โคสท์ เอ็นจิเนียริ่ง จำกัด หรือ WCE ได้รับรางวัลเชิดชูเกียรติ 5 ปีติดต่อกัน (พ.ศ.2552-พ.ศ.2556) ประเภทสถานประกอบกิจการขนาดกลาง ไม่มีสหภาพแรงงาน ณ ห้องแกรนด์ ไดมอนด์ บอลรูม ศูนย์แสดงสินค้าและการประชุมอิมแพค เมืองทองธานีในวันศุกร์ที่ 13 กันยายน 2556 ที่ผ่านมา

Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Public Company Limited – TCRSS wins prestigious Thailand Energy Award 2013 for Outstanding Designated Factory in Energy Conservation of Ministry of Energy. This achievement results from commitment to be leader of energy conservation and all employee cooperation.
          Mr. Nava Chantanasurakon, President of TCRSS revealed that “Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, Ministry of Energy, had invited nation-wide industrial enterprises to apply for Thailand Energy Award 2013 Contest and TCRSS which stabilizes efficient and valuable energy management as the Company Vision “To be the excellent cold rolled steel mill with excellent teamwork”, is nominated the outstanding award for designated factory in Energy Conservation. The award ceremony will be chaired by Prime Minister, H.E. Yingluck Shinawatra on September 18, 2013 at Santi Mitree Building, Government House”.
          “It is the 2nd time for TCRSS to receive this honorable Thailand Energy Award since the 1st remarkable award in 2009. This intensively presses the commitment to be leader of energy conservation which not only affect to the Company in energy saving but also to the world’s energy consumption reduction as well as environment preservation. The important key success factor is employees’ cooperation given all together to conserve energy”.
          Thailand Energy Award is organized to encourage the business and industrial sector that have high energy consumption, plenty of employees related, energy conservation awareness and alternative energy development to be models to follow-up. The contest is separated into 5 categories; Alternative Energy, Energy Conservation, Human, Innovative Energy and Conservative and Alternative Energy. The designated factory that won Energy Conservation Award are 8 out of 263 applicants from nation-wide.

          นายนาวา จันทนสุรคน กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท เหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) เปิดเผยว่า “ตามที่กรมพัฒนาพลังงานทดแทนและอนุรักษ์พลังงาน กระทรวงพลังงาน ได้จัดให้มีการประกวด Thailand Energy Award 2013 โดยเชิญชวนผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมทั่วประเทศเข้าร่วมโครงการนั้น บริษัท เหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ TCRSS ในฐานะที่สามารถบริหารจัดการ ด้านการใช้พลังงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและคุ้มค่า ตามวิสัยทัศน์มุ่งเป็นผู้ผลิตเหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นชั้นเลิศ ด้วยทีมงานที่ยอดเยี่ยม ได้รับการคัดเลือกให้ได้รับรางวัลด้านอนุรักษ์พลังงาน ประเภทโรงงานควบคุมดีเด่น ทั้งนี้จะมีพิธีมอบรางวัล โดย นางสาวยิ่งลักษณ์ ชินวัตร ฯพณฯ นายกรัฐมนตรี ในวันที่ 18 กันยายน 2556 ณ ตึกสันติไมตรี ทำเนียบรัฐบาล
          กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ TCRSS กล่าวว่า “นับเป็นครั้งที่ 2 ของบริษัทฯที่ได้รับรางวัลสำคัญดังกล่าว หลังจากที่ได้รับรางวัลเดียวกันนี้เป็นครั้งแรกเมื่อปี 2552 ถือ ซึ่งเป็นการตอกย้ำและแสดงให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นขององค์กรในการเป็นผู้นำด้านการประหยัดและใช้พลังงานให้เกิดคุณค่ามากที่สุด ซึ่งนอกจากจะส่งผลต่อบริษัทเชิงเศรษฐกิจในรูปของพลังงานที่ประหยัดได้แล้ว ยังเป็นการช่วยลดการใช้ทรัพยากรของโลก อันเป็นผลดีต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม ทั้งนี้พลังขับเคลื่อนสำคัญที่ส่งผลให้บริษัทได้รับรางวัลนี้ คือ พนักงาน TCRSS ทุกคนที่มีส่วนร่วมในการอนุรักษ์พลังงานของบริษัทฯ จนประสบความสำเร็จ”
          รางวัล Thailand Energy Award จัดขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมภาคธุรกิจและภาคอุตสาหกรรมที่ใช้พลังงานในปริมาณที่สูง และมีบุคลากรที่เกี่ยวข้องจำนวนมาก มีความตื่นตัวในการอนุรักษ์พลังงานและการพัฒนาพลังงานทดแทน เพื่อให้เป็นแบบอย่างมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยแบ่งการประกวดออกเป็น 5 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านพลังงานทดแทน ด้านอนุรักษ์พลังงาน ด้านบุคลากร ด้านพลังงานสร้างสรรค์ และด้านส่งเสริมการอนุรักษ์พลังงานและพลังงานทดแทน  การประกวดในครั้งนี้ มีผู้สนใจส่งผลงานเข้าประกวดจากทั่วประเทศ 263 ราย โดยรางวัลด้านอนุรักษ์พลังงาน ประเภทโรงงานควบคุม มีบริษัทที่ได้รับรางวัลจำนวน 8 ราย

Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet PLC receives CSR-DIW Continuous Award 2013

Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Public Company Limited (TCRSS), an affiliate of SSI Group, receives CSR-DIW Continuous Award 2013 for 3 consecutive years by Mr. Banjerd Pudeehin, Factory Safety & Environment Administration Department Manager, as a representative of TCRSS. The award is a certification that the organization has already joined the project to encourage industrial factories to have social responsibility and sustainably join CSR-DIW network. The event was held at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, on 11 September 2013.

CSR-DIW Continuous Award was set by Bureau of Public Participatory Promotion, Department of Industrial Works to encourage participation of industrial factories to apply CSR-DIW (Corporate Social Responsibility, Department of Industrial Works) standard of the Bureau to their organization and move forward to apply ISO 26000.

          บริษัท เหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ TCRSS บริษัทในกลุ่มเอสเอสไอ รับมอบโล่รางวัล CSR-DIW Continuous Award ประจำปี 2556 จากกรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม ต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 3 โดยมีนายบรรเจิด ภูดีหิน ผู้จัดการฝ่ายบริหารความปลอดภัยและสิ่งแวดล้อมโรงงาน เป็นตัวแทนเข้ารับมอบฯ เพื่อรับรองว่าเป็นหน่วยงานที่ผ่านโครงการส่งเสริมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมที่มีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมให้ยกระดับสู่วัฒนธรรมและเครือข่ายสีเขียวอย่างต่อเนื่องและยั่งยืน ณ ศูนย์การประชุมอิมแพ็ค เมืองทองธานีเมื่อวันที่ 11 กันยายน 2556
          รางวัล CSR-DIW Continuous Award จัดขึ้นโดยสำนักส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชน กรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อส่งเสริมให้โรงงานอุตสาหกรรมนำมาตรฐานของกรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม ว่าด้วยการแสดงความรับผิดชอบของผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมต่อสังคม (Corporate Social Responsibility, Department of Industrial Works: CSR-DIW) ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาสู่มาตรฐาน ISO 26000

SSI supports Ban Don Sa-nga Youth Council to set direction-make plans-have a study tour

=            Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SSI), in cooperation with Prachuap Khiri Khan Social Development and Human Security office, Bangsaphan Community Development office, Kumnunrdnoppakun Subdistrict Administration, and local community leaders in Don-sanga area, arranged a meeting for Ban Don Sa-nga Youth Council to set direction, make plans and have a study tour to learn about sufficiency economy, after the election of Ban Don Sa-nga Youth Council Committee on 31 August 2013. There were 59 people joining the event at Kaokling Sufficiency Economy Learning Center, Kaengkrachan district, Phetchaburi on 7 September 2013. Youth Council Project is a pilot project that SSI has joined hands with various groups in order to encourage the youths to work as a team, learn to solve problems by themselves and instill public mind among the youths.

            บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี หรือ เอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับพัฒนาสังคม ประจวบฯ พัฒนาชุมชน อ.บางสะพาน อบต.กำเนิดนพคุณ และผู้นำชุมชน จัดประชุมระดมความคิด สภาเยาวชนบ้านดอนสง่า โดยมีเยาวชนและบุคลากรที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม 59 คน หลังจากจัดการเลือกตั้งคณะกรรมการบริหารสภาเยาวชนบ้านดอนสง่า เมื่อวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม 2556 เพื่อกำหนดทิศทาง วางแผนการปฏิบัติงาน และศึกษาดูงานกิจกรรรมส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง ณ ศูนย์เรียนรู้เศรษฐกิจพอเพียงเขากลิ้ง อ.แก่งกระจาน จ.เพชรบุรี เมื่อ 7 กันยายน 2556
            โครงการสภาเยาวชนระดับหมู่บ้าน เป็นโครงการนำร่องที่เอสเอสไอได้ร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานและองค์กรดังกล่าวข้างต้นในการดำเนินงาน โดยมุ่งหวังที่จะให้เยาวชนได้เรียนรู้ในการทำงานเป็นทีม รู้จักการแก้ไขปัญหาด้วยตนเองผ่านสภาเยาวชน และส่งเสริมการสร้างจิตสำนึกสาธารณะ
