Mr.Padungsak Pranudomrat, Assistant Vice President, Public & Community Relations, Public Affairs and Social Responsibility Division, Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC or SSI, Presided over the opening ceremony of the Super Smart & Intelligent Kids Project or SSI Kids. SSI have cooperated with The Natural Resources and Environmental of Prachuab Khirikhan to held this project for Youth in Maerumphueng around 100 people and brought them into the company to learn basic water’s quality monitoring, Survey of plant and animal species that can indicate the quality of the water by theory and also actual practice the principles of experimental science to provide young people with knowledge and correct understanding of the environmental management of the Company and the information can be disseminated to the community properly. This activity was conducted by Khun Noawarat Intaradate, The Environmental Specialist of The Natural Resources and Environmental of PrachuabKhirikhan, and her team to enhance knowledge for this event at Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC, Bangsaphan, Prachuabkhirikhan.
After this event. SSI would encourage the youth to join the company to monitoring quality of water in four checkpoint, Wangkrajonk canal, Thakham canal, Beginning and End of Maerumphueng canal, Further to provide a water’s quality monitoring network in the Bangsaphan community.
SSI ชวนเยาวชนแม่รำพึง ร่วมทดลองตรวจสอบคุณภาพน้ำในบริเวณโรงงาน
นายผดุงศักดิ์ ปราณอุดมรัตน์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป สำนักประชาสัมพันธ์และชุมชนสัมพันธ์ สายกิจการสาธารณะและความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด(มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ เป็นประธานเปิดโครงการ “Super Smart & Intelligent Kids – SSI Kids” ซึ่งเอสเอสไอร่วมกับสำนักงานทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์จัดขึ้น ด้วยการนำเยาวชนในพื้นที่แม่รำพึงจำนวน 100 คน เข้ามาเรียนรู้เรื่องการตรวจสอบคุณภาพน้ำเบื้องต้น การสำรวจสิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งพืชและสัตว์ที่สามารถบ่งบอกถึงคุณภาพของน้ำ ในภาคทฤษฎีและทดลองปฏิบัติจริงตามหลักวิทยาศาสตร์ เพื่อให้เยาวชนได้มีความรู้ความเข้าใจที่ถูกต้องในเรื่องการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมของบริษัทและสามารถนำข้อมูลที่ได้รับไปเผยแพร่สู่ชุมชนได้อย่างถูกต้อง โดยมีคุณเนาวรัตน์ อินทรเดช นักวิชาการสิ่งแวดล้อมชำนาญการ จากสำนักงานทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ พร้อมคณะมาเป็นวิทยากร ณ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด(มหาชน) อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์
ภายหลังจากการจัดกิจกรรมนี้ เอสเอสไอจะสนับสนุนให้มีการตั้งกลุ่มเยาวชนเพื่อร่วมกับทางบริษัท ออกไปตรวจวัดค่าน้ำในจุดตรวจที่บริษัทฯ จัดตั้งขึ้น 4 จุดได้แก่ บริเวณคลองวังกระจอง คลองท่าขาม คลองแม่รำพึงต้นน้ำและปลายน้ำ เพื่อให้เป็นเครือข่ายเฝ้าระวังคุณภาพน้ำภาคประชาชนในชุมชนบางสะพานต่อไป
