SSI executives join “The 2nd Half of 2012 Goals Program Achievement Presentation

Mr. Win Viriyaprapaikit, Group CEO and President of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (“SSI”), recently presided over “The 2rd Half of 2012 Goals Program Achievement Presentation.” There were 116 SSI top and middle management executives, joining the seminar. Each division/department presented their achievement in the second half of 2012, exchanged their ideas and listened to comments and suggestions from the Management Committee and Group CEO and President. SSI executives will use these advices as a guideline to enhance their working process to be more efficient and develop their division and the Company. The event was held at Western Hotel, Prachuap Khiri Khan on 14 December 2012.

ผู้บริหารเอสเอสไอประชุมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและนำเสนอผลงานครึ่งหลังปี 2555

นายวิน วิริยประไพกิจ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่มและกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ นำทีมผู้บริหารเข้าสัมมนานำเสนอผลการดำเนินงานครึ่งปีหลัง ประจำปี 2555 โดยมีผู้บริหารระดับสูงและระดับกลางจำนวน 116 คนเข้าร่วม ทั้งนี้แต่ละฝ่ายได้นำเสนอผลงานในครึ่งปีหลังของปี 2555 พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนและรับฟังความคิดเห็นจากคณะกรรมการจัดการและประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่มและกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ เพื่อนำไปพัฒนาการทำงานและผลงานให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น ตลอดจนพัฒนาหน่วยงานและองค์กรต่อไป ณ โรงแรมเวสท์เทิร์น ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เมื่อวันที่ 14 ธันวาคม ที่ผ่านมา

Iron Man helps vulnerable people

Mr. Padungsak Pranudomrat, Assistant Vice President, Public & Community Relations, Public Affairs and Social Responsibility Division of Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC (SSI), as a representative of Iron Man Mini Marathon’s 4 organizers (Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC (SSI), Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Plc.(TCRSS), BlueScope Steel (Thailand) Ltd. (BST) and The Siam United Steel (1995) Co., Ltd.) handed over THB 100,000 fund raised from “The 5th Thailand Iron Man Mini Marathon 2012” to ZOA foundation (Southeast Asia foundation) in order to support education for refugees in temporary shelter along Thailand-Myanmar border in Mae Sai, Tak province.

นายผดุงศักดิ์ ปราณอุดมรัตน์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป สำนักประชาสัมพันธ์และชุมชนสัมพันธ์ สายกิจการสาธารณะและความรับผิดชอบทางสังคม บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือเอสเอสไอ เป็นผู้แทนองค์กรร่วมจัดมอบรายได้จากการจัดการแข่งขันกิจกรรมเดิน – วิ่งการกุศล ฅนเหล็กมินิมาราธอนครั้งที่ 5  จำนวน 100,000 บาท  จากผู้สนับสนุน 4 องค์กรร่วมจัดประกอบด้วย บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน)  (SSI) บริษัทเหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) (TCRSS) บริษัท สยามยูไนเต็ดสตีล (1995) จำกัด (SUS) และบริษัท บลูสโคป สตีล (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด (BST) ให้กับมูลนิธิ ZOA เพื่อสนับสนุนด้านการศึกษาแก่ผู้ลี้ภัยในพื้นที่พักพิงชั่วคราวและหมุ่บ้านตามแนวชายแดน ณ อำเภอแม่สาย จังหวัดตาก

SSI supports excellent metallurgists

Professor Watchara Kasinrerk, Ph. D., Vice President for Academic and Education Quality of Chiang Mai University, as a representative of sponsors of the 6th Thailand Metallurgy Conference, handed over the honorable plate to Mr. Padungsak Pranudomrat, Assistant Vice President, Public & Community Relations, Public Affairs and Social Responsibility Division of Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC (SSI), as SSI has supported the conference at Holiday Inn, Chiang Mai. In addition, SSI supported the award for excellent metallurgists and modern metallurgists in order to strengthen metallurgy in Thailand to move forward. Moreover, there were 2 researches of SSI, selected to be presented in the conference.

        ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. วัชระ กสิณฤกษ์  รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการและพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ในฐานะเจ้าภาพจัดงานการประชุมวิชาการทางโลหะวิทยาแห่งประเทศไทย ครั้งที่ 6   มอบโล่ประกาศเกียรติคุณ ให้แก่บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือเอสเอสไอ ในฐานะเป็นผู้ให้การสนับสนุนการจัดการประชุม โดยมีนายผดุงศักดิ์ ปราณอุดมรัตน์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป สำนักประชาสัมพันธ์ สายกิจการสาธารณะและความรับผิดชอบทางสังคม เป็นผู้แทนรับมอบ ณ โรงแรมฮอลลิเดย์ อินน์ เชียงใหม่ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ทั้งนี้ เอสเอสไอยังได้เป็นผู้สนับสนุนรางวัลนักโลหะวิทยาดีเด่น และนักโลหะวิทยารุ่นใหม่ เพื่อสร้างความเข้มแข็งและเสริมสร้างวิชาชีพโลหะวิทยาในประเทศไทยให้ก้าวหน้าต่อไป ทั้งนี้มีสองผลงานวิจัยของเอสเอสไอได้รับคัดเลือกให้นำเสนอในเวทีการประชุมดังกล่าวด้วย

10 teams in semifinals join briefing session on rules of Thailand Steel House Contest

          The last 10 teams, who were in the semifinals of Thailand Steel House Contest 2012 (Greenovation: Less is more) to win the Royal Trophy and more than THB 1 million award, joined the briefing session of model making rules, presentation rules and judgment criteria. These teams consisted of 5 student teams and 5 professional teams. Each team received THB 30,000 and THB 50,000 funds for model making, respectively. The event was held at Steel Institute of Thailand (ISIT) office on 14 December 2012. The due date of the models submitting will be on 28 December 2012, before announcing the winners of both categories in February.
          Thailand Steel House Contest 2012 was collaboration between Iron and Steel Institute of Thailand (ISIT), Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (SSI), steel companies including Siam Yamato Steel Co., Ltd. and Pacific Pipe Public Co., Ltd. and this was the 3rd contest. For more information, please visit www.isit.or.th

10 ทีมเข้ารอบสุดท้ายประกวดบ้านเหล็กร่วมรับฟังกติการการนำเสนอผลงาน
          10 ทีมสุดท้ายที่เข้ารอบ “การประกวดออกแบบบ้านเหล็กด้วยนวัตกรรมเขียว” ประจำปี 2555 (Thailand Steel House Contest 2012 (Greenovation: Less is more) ชิงถ้วยพระราชทานสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี และเงินรางวัลรวมกว่า 1 ล้านบาท ที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกจากกว่า 200 ผลงาน เข้าร่วมรับฟังกติกาการทำแบบจำลอง การนำเสนอผลงานและเกณฑ์การตัดสิน ทั้งนี้แบ่งเป็นทีมระดับนักศึกษา 5 ทีมซึ่งได้รับเงินสนับสนุนในการจัดทำแบบจำลองทีมละ 30,000 บาทและระดับวิชาชีพ 5 ทีมทีมละ 50,000 บาท ณ สถาบันเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าแห่งประเทศไทย เมื่อวันที่ 14 ธันวาคม ที่ผ่านมา โดยกำหนดส่งผลงานภายในวันที่ 28 ธันวาคมนี้  ก่อนประกาศผลทีมที่ชนะเลิศทั้งสองประเภทในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ที่จะถึงนี้
          ทั้งนี้การประกวดออกแบบบ้านเหล็กจัดขึ้นโดยสถาบันเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าแห่งประเทศไทย ร่วมกับ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน)หรือ เอสเอสไอ รวมทั้งผู้ประกอบการในอุตสาหกรรมเหล็กอื่นๆ เช่น บริษัท เหล็กสยามยามาโตะ จำกัด และ บริษัท แปซิฟิกไพพ์ จำกัด (มหาชน) ซึ่งปีนี้จัดเป็นครั้งที่ 3 ผู้สนใจสามารถติดตามอัพเดตข้อมูลการแข่งขันได้ที่ www.isit.or.th
