Mr. Veera Sriwattanatrakoon, Prachuabkirikhan Governor joined hands with Mr. Attasit Sukthamniyom, Chief District of Bangsaphan and Mr. Rachen Maneesawangwong, as a representative of Sahaviriya Group Management Executives, together with around 1,400 people, including executives, community leaders, representatives from government agencies, enterprises, educational institutions, entrepreneurs and Bangsaphan people, participated in activities to honor His Majesty the King’s 85th Birthday under the project “Love the King, Preserve Bangsaphan, 5 December 2012.” The activities included planting 985 preserved and perennial plants such as apinau, mahogany, Acacia mangium Willd and gooseberry aroma and setting 1,500 fresh-water fish in the reservoir in Moo 4, Ban Huay Kriab, Thongmongkol sub-district, Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khiri Khan. The purpose of this event is to make merits and show the unity and loyalty to H.M. The King and royal institution. Moreover, it will help increase green area in Bangsaphan and generate awareness of natural resources conservation among local people.

เครือสหวิริยารวมพลังชาวบางสะพานทำความดีถวายพ่อหลวง
นายวีระ ศรีวัฒนตระกูล ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ พร้อมด้วย นายอรรถสิทธิ์ สุขธรรมนิยม นายอำเภอบางสะพาน และนายราเชนทร์ มณีสว่างวงศ์ ผู้บริหารเครือสหวิริยา นำคณะผู้บริหารและพนักงานบริษัทในเครือสหวิริยา ผู้นำชุมชน หน่วยงานภาครัฐ รัฐวิสาหกิจ สถาบันการศึกษา ผู้ประกอบการ และ ประชาชน อ.บางสะพานประมาณ 1,400 คน ร่วมกิจกรรมเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาครบ 85 พรรษา ภายใต้โครงการ “รักในหลวง รักษ์บางสะพาน 5 ธันวามหาราช 2555” โดยร่วมกันปลูกพันธุ์ไม้สงวนและไม้ยืนต้น อาทิ ยางนา มะฮอกกานี กระถินเทพา มะยมหอม จำนวน 985 ต้น และปล่อยพันธุ์ปลาน้ำจืดจำนวน 1,500 ตัว บริเวณอ่างเก็บน้ำ หมู่ 4 บ้านห้วยเกรียบ ต.ทองมงคล อ.บางสะพาน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ เพื่อแสดงออกถึงพลังความสามัคคีและความจงรักภักดีต่อสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ เพื่อเพิ่มพื้นที่สีเขียวและคงความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของป่าไม้อำเภอบางสะพาน รวมถึงเพื่อสร้างจิตสำนึกในการร่วมมือกันอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติของคนในท้องถิ่น
WCE-HOWDEN sign THB 170 million pricing agreement for heavy steel structure
Mr. Kamol Juntima, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Narongrit Chotnuchittrakul, Managing Director of West Coast Engineering Co., Ltd. (WCE), an affiliate of SSI group of companies, who provide engineering services, signed the Pricing Agreement with Mr. David McMinn, Howden UK, an expert company in heavy steel structure. The agreement includes pricing, lead time and other commercial term. Moreover, WCE plans to obtain 9 engineering services projects worth THB 170 million during 2012-2013. นายกมล จันทิมา ประธานกรรมการ และนายณรงฤทธิ์ โชตินุชิตตระกูล กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท เวสท์โคสท์ เอ็นจิเนียริ่ง จำกัด (WCE) บริษัทในกลุ่มเอสเอสไอ ซึ่งเป็นผู้ให้บริการงานด้านวิศวกรรม และ Mr. David McMinn (Howden UK) ผู้ชำนาญการในธุรกิจวิศวกรรมโครงสร้างเครื่องจักรขนาดใหญ่ ประเทศอังกฤษ ร่วมลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลง Pricing Agreement สำหรับโครงการงานประกอบโครงสร้างเครื่องจักรขนาดใหญ่ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย การกำหนดราคา การส่งมอบ และข้อตกลงด้านการค้า ทั้งนี้ WCE มีแผนรับงานโครงสร้างขนาดใหญ่ระหว่างปี 2555-2556 รวม 9 โครงการ มูลค่ารวมประมาณ 170 ล้านบาท ณ ห้องประชุมสำนักงานเอสเอสไอกรุงเทพฯ เมื่อวันที่ 6 ธันวาคม 2555
SSI hands over equipments and working capital for Waste Bank Project to schools in Bangsaphan
Mr. Padungsak Pranudomrat, Assistant Vice President – Public & Community Relations, Public Affairs and Social Responsibility Division of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SSI), handed over working capital and equipments for Waste Bank Project 2012, overall worth THB 40,000 Baht, to Mr. Surajit Kaewchavee, Director of the Women Secretaries 1 School, and, Representative from Director of Ban Nong Jand School. This handing over ceremony was a part of SSI Recyclable Waste Bank Network Project. SSI had arranged a garbage bank management study tour before this ceremony. The schools will used the equipments and working capital to set up their own garbage bank, focusing on waste management and allowing youths and communities to take part in this project.

นายผดุงศักดิ์ ปราณอุดมรัตน์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป สำนักประชาสัมพันธ์และชุมชนสัมพันธ์ สายกิจการสาธารณะและความรับผิดชอบทางสังคม บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ส่งมอบอุปกรณ์และทุนหมุนเวียนสมทบโครงการธนาคารขยะ ปี 2555 มูลค่ารวม 40,000 บาท ให้แก่สองโรงเรียนที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกให้เข้าร่วมโครงการในปี 2555 ได้แก่ โรงเรียนสมาคมเลขานุการสตรี 1 และโรงเรียนบ้านหนองจันทร์ โดยมีนายสุรจิต แก้วฉวี ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนสมาคมเลขานุการสตรี 1 และตัวแทนผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนบ้านหนองจันทร์ เป็นผู้แทนรับมอบ พร้อมด้วยคณะครูและนักเรียนที่เข้าร่วมงาน ซึ่งเป็นการต่อยอดกิจกรรมจากการเดินทางศึกษาดูงานที่ผ่านมา เพื่อนำอุปกรณ์และเงินทุนที่ได้รับไปจัดตั้งธนาคารขยะ โดยเน้นรูปแบบการบริหารจัดการขยะ ที่ให้เยาวชนและชุมชนเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินกิจกรรมต่อไป
