Rajcha Pracha Samasai allies Sahaviriya-Government agencies-Privates to arrange “Sahaviriya Bangkok Triathlon 2012,” winning the Royal Trophy
Bangkok May 3, 2012: Rajcha Pracha Samasai Foundation under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King, Bangkok, the Royal Thai Police and Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (SSI) together with government agencies and private sectors held a press conference on “Sahaviriya Bangkok Triathlon 2012.” The winners will receive the Royal Trophy and Friendship Cup from the Embassy of the United States. The contribution fund raised from this event will be donated to leprosy patients and children whose parents are afflicted with HIV. The triathlon will be held in Suan Luang Rama 8 on Sunday 3 June 2012.
Mrs. Suleemas Sutthisamphat , Chairman of the Sahaviriya Bangkok Triathlon Organizing Committee, said that the purpose of the triathlon was to raise fund for leprosy patients and children whose parents are afflicted with HIV. Moreover, the winner of the individual male and female will receive the Royal Trophy.
“As a representative of Rajcha Pracha Samasai Foundation, I have the honor and appreciate to receive the support from SSI and government departments, the Royal Thai Police, past and current sponsors who have been supporting us all these times. Moreover, we have appointed Go Tri Asia to be in charge in organizing the triathlon as this company has the experiences of arranging many triathlons in the past.”
Mr. Nava Chantanasurakon, Vice President, Public Affairs and Social Responsibility Division of SSI said that “SSI has the honor to become the main sponsor of “Sahaviriya Bangkok Triathlon” after the Company supported only public relations part last time. Triathlons not only represent strength of humanity but they also reflect the good intension of the Company and connect to SSI’s motto of innovate • strength. As the raised fund will be given to leprosy patients and children whose parents are afflicted with HIV, this purpose is in line with our motto in term of encouraging sustainable strength in communities and the society.
“Sahaviriya Bangkok Triathlon 2012” comprises of 5 types of races as follows:
- Khon Lhek 67: Competitors will undergo a 1.84-km swimming along the Chao Phraya River, 55-km biking towards the top of the Borommarajchachonnanee elevated expressway (2 rounds), and a 10km running in Suan Luang Rama VIII Park (3 rounds).
- Khon Lhek 35: Competitors will undergo a 1-km swimming along the Chao Phraya River, 27.5-km biking towards the top of the Borommarajchachonnanee elevated expressway (2 rounds), and a 6.5-km running in Suan Luang Rama VIII Park (3 rounds).
- Duathlon: for those who do not prefer swimming.
- Team and individual type: Participants may choose to enter the competition as part of a team or can also opt to compete individually.
- Riding a bicycle only: for those who prefer to join the bicycle race only.

กรุงเทพ 3 พฤษภาคม 2555 : มูลนิธิราชประชาสมาสัยในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ กรุงเทพมหานคร สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ และ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ “เอสเอสไอ” ร่วมด้วย หน่วยงานของรัฐและเอกชนที่เกี่ยวข้องจัดพิธีแถลงข่าวการแข่งขัน “สหวิริยากรุงเทพไตรกีฬา (ครั้งที่ 4)”ประจำปี 2555 “Sahaviriya Bangkok Triathlon 2012” ชิงถ้วยพระราชทานพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว และถ้วยเกียรติยศ “Friendship Cup” จากสถานทูตสหรัฐอเมริกา ประจำประเทศไทย เพื่อหารายได้สมทบทุน ช่วยเหลือผู้ป่วยโรคเรื้อนและให้ทุนการศึกษากับเด็กที่บิดามารดาติดเชื้อเอดส์ (เอชไอวี) กิจกรรมการแข่งขันจะจัดขึ้น ณ บริเวณสวนหลวงพระราม 8 ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 3 มิถุนายน 2555
นางศุลีมาศ สุทธิสัมพัทน์ ประธานกรรมการจัดงานกล่าวว่าการจัดงานครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหารายได้สมทบทุนช่วยเหลือผู้ป่วยโรคเรื้อนและเด็กที่บิดามารดาติดเชื้อโรคเอดส์ (เอชไอวี) ที่อยู่ภายใต้การอนุเคราะห์ของมูลนิธิ ส่วนรางวัลของการแข่งขันรายการนี้ผู้ชนะเลิศประเภทชายเดี่ยวและหญิงเดี่ยวได้รับพระราชทานถ้วยรางวัลจากพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว
“มูลนิธิราชประชาสมาสัยรู้สึกเป็นเกียรติและขอขอบคุณที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก เอสเอสไอ และหน่วยงานภาครัฐต่างๆ ทั้งกรุงเทพมหานคร และสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ รวมทั้งผู้ให้การสนับสนุนทั้งในอดีตและปัจจุบัน เพื่อส่งเสริมกิจกรรมของมูลนิธิด้วยดีมาโดยตลอด นอกจากนี้ในการแข่งขันสหวิริยากรุงเทพไตรกีฬาในครั้งนี้ ทางมูลนิธิฯ ได้แต่งตั้ง Go Tri Asia เพื่อเป็นผู้บริหารงานและอำนวยความสะดวกในการแข่งขัน ซึ่งได้รับความไว้วางใจในการจัดงานไตรกีฬาในอดีต”
ด้านนายนาวา จันทนสุรคน ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน)หรือเอสเอสไอ กล่าวว่า “เอสเอสไอมีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้เป็นผู้สนับสนุนหลัก “สหวิริยากรุงเทพไตรกีฬา” หลังจากที่ปี่ที่ผ่านมาได้มีส่วนสนับสนุนในส่วนของการสื่อสารประชาสัมพันธ์และส่งทีมเข้าร่วม ทั้งนี้การแข่งขันไตรกีฬานอกจากจะเป็นกีฬาที่เป็นตัวแทนความแข็งแกร่งของมนุษย์แล้ว รายได้จากการจัดการแข่งขันส่วนหนึ่งจะนำไปสมทบทุนช่วยเหลือผู้ป่วยโรคเรื้อนและสมทบทุนการศึกษาเด็กที่มีบิดามารดาติดเชื้อเอดส์ (เอชไอวี) อีกด้วยซึ่งสอดคล้องกับคติพจน์ของบริษัทที่ว่า “สร้างสรรค์ • แข็งแกร่ง” หรือ “innovate • strength” ที่หมายความรวมไปถึงการสร้างความแข็งแกร่งให้ชุมชนและสังคมอย่างยั่งยืน นอกจากนี้เรายังได้มีทีมสหวิริยา เข้าร่วมแข่งขัน โดยมี คุณวิน วิริยประไพกิจ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่ม และกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ เอสเอสไอ เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันด้วย เราหวังว่าการแข่งขันนี้จะเป็นอีกก้าวหนึ่งซึ่งสะท้อนความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมซึ่งเราให้ความสำคัญมาโดยตลอด”
การแข่งขัน “สหวิริยากรุงเทพไตรกีฬา” แบ่งเป็น 5 ประเภท ดังนี้
ฅนเหล็ก 67 : ประกอบด้วย ว่ายน้ำ ระยะทาง 2 กม. ในแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา เริ่มต้นที่สะพานพระราม 8 ปั่นจักรยาน ระยะทาง 55 กม. บนทางด่วนยกระดับถนนบรมราชชนนีไปกลับ 2 รอบ และวิ่งระยะทาง 10 กม. ที่บริเวณสวนหลวงพระราม 8 ไปกลับ 3 รอบ
ฅนเหล็ก 35 : ประกอบด้วย ว่ายน้ำ ระยะทาง 1 กม. ปั่นจักรยาน 27.5 กิโลเมตร และวิ่ง 6.5 กิโลเมตร สำหรับผู้ที่สนใจระยะทางไม่ไกลนัก
ทวิกีฬาระยะสั้น และระยะยาว : สำหรับผู้ที่ไม่ต้องการเข้าร่วมการว่ายน้ำ
การแข่งขันประเภทเดี่ยวและทีม : ผู้เข้าแข่งขันสามารถเลือกได้ว่าต้องการแข่งเดี่ยวหรือเป็นทีม
การแข่งขันปั่นจักรยาน : สำหรับผู้เข้าแข่งขันที่ชื่นชอบการปั่นจักรยาน

Sahaviriya Group supports Bangsaphan youth volunteering to sell 270 T-shirt for charity
Sahaviriya Group held SSI Arsa project for charity by inviting youth from Bangsaphan to join “Arsa Bangsaphan youth group.” The group joined the screening T-shirt training course and sold the T-shirts for charity. There were 45 teenagers participating the event and 270T-shirts were sold. The profits from this project will be partially used as working capital for next project and for vulnerable people in the society. This activity was aimed at encouraging Bangsaphan youth to make good use of their free time, stay away from drugs, broaden their horizon, contribute to the society and people who are in need of help. These teenagers will become good role model for younger generations in local community.
เครือสหวิริยาส่งเสริมเยาวชนอาสาบางสะพานปันน้ำใจสู่สังคม
รวมตัวทำเสื้อยืดขายได้ 270 ตัวรายได้มอบช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยสังคม
เครือสหวิริยาจัดกิจกรรมโครงการเยาวชนอาสา ปันน้ำใจสู่สังคม โดยเชิญชวนเยาวชนบางสะพานที่มีจิตใจอาสาเข้าร่วมโครงการและจัดตั้ง “กลุ่มเยาวชนบางสะพานอาสา” เพื่อฝึกปฏิบัติทักษะวิชาชีพการสกรีนเสื้อ ซึ่งมีเยาวชนจิตอาสาสมัครเข้าร่วมเป็นเครือข่าย 45 คน และในครั้งแรกนี้สามารถจำหน่ายเสื้อได้ 270 ตัว โดยกลุ่มเยาวชนบางสะพานอาสาจะนำรายได้ส่วนหนึ่งหลังหักทุนหมุนเวียนในกลุ่มเพื่อเป็นทุนในการต่อยอดกิจกรรมในครั้งต่อไป และร่วมบริจาคช่วยเหลือผู้ด้อยโอกาสในสังคมในรูปแบบต่างๆ ทั้งนี้กิจกรรมดังกล่าวมุ่งเน้นส่งเสริมให้เยาวชนบางสะพานได้ใช้เวลาว่างในช่วงปิดภาคเรียนให้เกิดประโยชน์ ห่างไกลสิ่งเสพย์ติด และเปิดโลกทัศน์ให้กว้างขึ้นพร้อมการปลูกฝังการมีจิตสาธารณะให้แก่เยาวชนในท้องถิ่น รวมถึงเสริมการพัฒนาความคิดบนพื้นฐานของการเอื้ออาทรแก่เพื่อนมนุษย์ที่เดือดร้อน ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งหนึ่งที่ช่วยจรรโลงสังคมให้น่าอยู่ยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งยังเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีต่อเยาวชนในท้องถิ่นรุ่นต่อๆไป
SSI allies with local media from Prachuapkhirikhan to improve Wat Noen Din Daeng child care center
Mr. Padungsak Pranudomrat, Public and Community Relations Manager of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited or “SSI” as a SSI’s representative, led SSI Arsa employees to join the project “Tum dee duay kun Tum dee duay jai SSI meets the media” in order to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s and Queen’s 62nd wedding anniversary. SSI has allied with Public Relations Office of Prachuap Khiri Khan, Radio Broadcasting Station MCOT and the local media in Prachuapkhirikhan to do a charity project by constructing Wat Noen Din Daeng child care center in Thap Sakae, Prachuapkhirikhan. The activities included roof constructing, children playground fence building, improving children playthings, 62 trees planting. Mr. Raweeroj Songsri, Public Relations Executive of Prachuapkhirikhan, together with the local media in the province, employees and local community people, overall 89 people, joined the event. This project not only encouraged good relationship between the Company and the press, it also generated benefits to the local community and celebrated the special occasion.
เอสเอสไอผนึกสื่อประจวบฯอาสา “ทำดีด้วยกัน ทำดีด้วยใจ เอสเอสไอพบสื่อมวลชน” พัฒนาศูนย์รับเลี้ยงเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนวัดเนินดินแดง
นายผดุงศักดิ์ ปราณอุดมรัตน์ ผู้จัดการสำนักประชาสัมพันธ์และชุมชนสัมพันธ์บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอันดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอเป็นผู้แทนบริษัทนำคณะพนักงานเอสเอสไออาสา เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม “ทำดีด้วยกัน ทำดีด้วยใจ เอสเอสไอพบสื่อมวลชน” เนื่องในวโรกาสวันคล้ายวันราชาภิเษกสมรสของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวและสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์พระบรมราชินีนาถครบ 62 ปี ในวันที่ 28 เมษายน 2555 นี้ โดยได้ร่วมกับกัลยาณมิตร ได้แก่ สำนักงานประชาสัมพันธ์จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ สถานีวิทยุ อสมท. และสื่อมวลชนประจำจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ทำประโยชน์ให้กับชุมชนในรูปแบบกิจกรรมจิตอาสา เพื่อพัฒนาศูนย์รับเลี้ยงเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนวัดเนินดินแดง อ.ทับสะแก จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ กิจกรรมดังกล่าวประกอบไปด้วย การสร้างหลังคา และรั้วสำหรับสนามเด็กเล่น พร้อมกับปรับปรุงอุปกรณ์เด็กเล่นให้อยู่ในสภาพสวยงาม และการปลูกต้นไม้จำนวน 62 ต้นริมถนนของหมู่บ้าน โดยมีนายรวีโรจน์ ส่องศรี ประชาสัมพันธ์จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ และสื่อมวลชนประจำจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ พนักงาน และคนในชุมชนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมจำนวน 89 คน กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้นอกจากจะเป็นการสร้างสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างองค์กรกับสื่อมวลชนแล้ว ยังนับเป็นการได้ร่วมทำความดีและสร้างประโยชน์ในกับชุมชนและท้องถิ่นเพื่อเฉลิมฉลองในวโรกาสดังกล่าวอีกด้วย
SSI promotes local community products in 23rd Annual General Meeting of Shareholders
Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company limited (SSI), the largest fully-integrated flat steel producer held the 23rd Annual General Meeting of Shareholders at Thai CC Hall, Thai CC Tower, on 27 April 2012. The meeting was presided by Mr. Wit Viriyaprapaikit, Chairman of the Board of Director with attendees from SSI’s Board of Directors, Management team, shareholders and proxies.
In this shareholder meeting , SSI has supported local community goods by providing concentrated multipurpose cleaner, which were made by a group of housewife from Thongmongkol sub-district, as souvenirs to the shareholders. This not only encouraged local people to learn to help themselves but it also reflected SSI’s vision of generating sustainable value for stakeholders.
เอสเอสไอ โปรโมทสินค้าชุมชนในงานประชุมสามัญผู้ถือหุ้น ครั้งที่ 23
บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ผู้ผลิตเหล็กแผ่นครบวงจรรายใหญ่ที่สุดในภูมิภาคเอเซียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ จัดประชุมสามัญประจำปีผู้ถือหุ้นครั้งที่ 23 โดยมีนายวิทย์ วิริยประไพกิจ ประธานกรรมการบริษัท เป็นประธานการประชุม ณ ห้อง แกรนด์ บอลรูม ไทยซีซี ทาวเวอร์ เมื่อวันที่ 27 เมษายน 2555 โดยมีคณะกรรมการ คณะผู้บริหารและผู้ถือหุ้นของบริษัท รวมทั้งผู้รับมอบฉันทะเข้าร่วมประชุม
ในการประชุมครั้งนี้ เอสเอสไอ ได้สนับสนุนสินค้าชุมชนโดยจัดซื้อน้ำยาเอนกประสงค์จาก “กลุ่มผู้หญิงก้าวหน้ารักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม” ตำบลทองมงคล เพื่อเป็นของที่ระลึกแก่ผู้ถือหุ้นในครั้งนี้ด้วย ซึ่งนอกจากจะเป็นสนับสนุนชาวบ้านให้สามารถช่วยเหลือตนเองได้แล้ว ยังเป็นการตอบสนองวิสัยทัศน์ของบริษัทในการทำประโยชน์ให้สังคมอย่างยั่งยืนอีกด้วย
