SSI held “2nd Half 2011 Goals Program Achievement Presentation”

          Mr. Win Viriyaprapaikit, Group CEO and President of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (“SSI”), recently led the executives and managers joining “the 2nd Half Year 2011 Goals Program Achievement Presentation” at Cha-Am Methavalai hotel. Among 90 participants from top and middle management, each division/ department presented its achievement in 2011 with diagnosis feedback from the Management Committee, and Group CEO deployed 2012 policy and guideline to all for leading the company to success through “Innovate • Strength” strategy.

นายวิน วิริยประไพกิจ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่ม และกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ นำคณะผู้บริหารและผู้จัดการเข้าสัมมนานำเสนอผลการดำเนินงานครึ่งปีหลัง ประจำปี 2554 ณ โรงแรมเมธาวลัย ชะอำ โดยในการสัมมนาซึ่งผู้บริหารระดับสูงและระดับกลางจำนวน 90 คนเข้าร่วม แต่ละสายงานและฝ่ายได้นำเสนอผลการดำเนินงานในครึ่งหลังของปี 2554 พร้อมรับข้อแนะนำจากคณะกรรมการจัดการ และประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่มได้แถลงถ่ายทอดนโยบายและทิศทางสำหรับปี 2555 แก่ผู้เข้าสัมมนาเพื่อนำพาบริษัทไปสู่ความสำเร็จภายใต้แนวคิด “สร้างสรรค์• ความแกร่ง” (Innovate • Strength)

SSI receives SET Award 2011 for Outstanding CSR

          Mr. Nava Chantasurakhon, Vice President, Public Affairs and Social Responsibility Division of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (SSI), received SET Awards 2011 for “Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility” from Mr. Charamporn Jotikasthira, President of The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in the annual SET Awards ceremony on December 22, 2011 at the SET building.

 This year’s event becomes the eighth year under the concept “Empowering the Thai Capital market towards regional leadership”. SET Awards are high-profile awards to honor listed firms which have achieved excellence in each category, as role models for the Thai capital market and international recognition. This award is also a crucial benchmark to track as the leading firms in the region and global level.

           นายนาวา จันทนสุรคน ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ สายกิจการสาธารณและความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ เป็นผู้แทนบริษัทฯ รับมอบรางวัลดีเด่นในสาขารางวัลบริษัทจดทะเบียนด้านความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม ประจำปี 2011จากนายจรัมพร โชติกเสถียร กรรมการและผู้จัดการ ตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย (ตลท.)ในงานประกาศผลและมอบรางวัล SET Awards 2011 ณ อาคารตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย เมื่อเร็วๆนี้

 SET Awards จัดขึ้นเป็นปีที่ 8 โดยความร่วมมือระหว่างตลาดหลักทรัพย์ฯ และวารสารการเงินธนาคาร งานในปีนี้จัดภายใต้แนวคิด Empowering the Thai capital market towards regional leadership หรือ ตลาดทุนไทยสู่ความเป็นผู้นำในภูมิภาค  เป็นรางวัลอันทรงเกียรติที่มอบให้แก่บริษัทและผู้บริหารที่มีความโดดเด่นในด้านต่างๆ เพื่อเป็นการเชิดชูเกียรติและเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีสำหรับตลาดทุน รวมถึงได้รับการยกย่องในระดับสากล และเป็นเครื่องชี้วัดถึงการก้าวสู่ความเป็นผู้นำในระดับภูมิภาคและนานาชาติได้อีกทางหนึ่ง

SSI spreads happiness of reading to the vulnerable children

     Mr. Padungsak Pranudomrat, Public and Community Relations Manager of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc., as a representative of SSI’s employees volunteering the “Do D in a Day: SSI Arsa 2nd Year ” Project, donated new and second-hand books as well as recycled paper to Mr.Charun Malaikul, Project Leader of “Reading builds the Nation” at the Mirror Foundation to share happiness and instill the love of reading to the vulnerable children.

The Project is a part of activities of SSI to cultivate employees to spread their happiness to the society, especially for the vulnerable people through tailored support.

     นายผดุงศักดิ์ ปราณอุดมรัตน์ ผู้จัดการสำนักประชาสัมพันธ์และชุมชนสัมพันธ์ บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี หรือเอสเอสไอ เป็นตัวแทนพนักงานอาสาในโครงการ “Do D in a Day เอสเอสไออาสา ปี2” มอบหนังสือมือหนึ่งและมือสอง รวมทั้ง กระดาษรีไซเคิล ให้แก่นายจรัญ มาลัยกุล หัวหน้าโครงการ “อ่านสร้างชาติ” มูลนิธิกระจกเงา เพื่อแบ่งปันความสุขปลูกความรู้สู่น้องๆ ผู้ด้อยโอกาส ณ มูลนิธิกระจกเงา

โครงการดังกล่าวนับเป็นอีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมที่เอสเอสไอจัดขึ้นเพื่อปลูกจิตสำนึกของพนักงานในการแบ่งปันความสุขสู่สังคม โดยเฉพาะการช่วยเหลือแบ่งปันในรูปแบบที่ตรงกับความต้องการของกลุ่มผู้ด้อยโอกาส
