Sahaviriya Group initiated “Bangsaphan (Best) Educational Fund” by contributing budget of Baht 2.6 million to schools in 4 sub-districts of Bangsaphan. The aims are to drive development and improvement of education by 3 dimensions which include schools, teachers and students to excellence in education and to emphasize development on sustainable basis.

The representatives of the participating and supporting agencies, who shall be a selection and plan arrangement committee, i.e. Office of the basic education commission, Ministry of Education, the Office of Prachuap Khirikhan Primary Educational Service Area Zone 1 and Bangsaphan District Administration Office, have attended the meeting held recently at the Auditorium Building of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SSI). The directors and teachers from 4 sub-districts (Maerumphung, Pongprasart, Kamnerdnoppakhun and Thongchai) in the surrounding areas of SSI Plant were also invited to attend and acknowledge details of the project.

Sahaviriya Group sincerely hopes that this new project will be able to drive a strong growth together with development of educational institution model of Bangsaphan which will maximize benefits of the Bangsaphan educational system in the near future.

Mr.Thawin Chanthavaranuruk, Senior Assistant District Officer of Bangsaphan said that, “This is a new project of Bangsaphan and Sahaviriya which has been initiated jointly by both public and private sectors. This project will provide fund for excellence of teachers, students and schools. It is a very good opportunity for these 20 schools in 4 sub-districts to develop and upgrade standards of teaching and studying. I wish that Sahaviriya would continuously support this project every year.”

Ms. Uthin Jeungvisetpong, an academic expert and representative of the Office of Basic Education, Office of Academic Educational Standards said that, “On behalf of the Office of Basic Education and a member of the project committee, I really appreciate this long term educational development project induced by SSI and Sahaviriya Group. I am so delighted for these 20 schools of Bangsaphan. Nowadays, the Ministry of Education is encouraging the private sector to have more roles on educational development, as we could not rely on the government budget only because it is not sufficient. Therefore, we wish to see and hear more about this great project led by the private sector like SSI and Sahaviriya Group did.”

เครือสหวิริยา เปิดตัวกองทุนฯ ร่วมพัฒนาการศึกษาบางสะพาน

เครือสหวิริยา เปิดตัวโครงการ “กองทุนสหวิริยาร่วมพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาบางสะพาน”จัดประชุมชี้แจงรายละเอียดของโครงการในการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาการศึกษาบางสะพานแบบองค์รวมทั้งสามมิติ ได้แก่ สถานศึกษา ครู และนักเรียน สู่ความเป็นเลิศทางการศึกษาตอกย้ำแนวทางการพัฒนาบนวิถีแห่งความอย่างยั่งยืน ทุ่มงบประมาณ 2.6 ล้านบาท โดยมีหน่วยงานร่วมดำเนินการและสนับสนุน จากสำนักงานคณะกรรมการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน (สพฐ.) กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ ,สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เขต 1และที่ทำการปกครองอำเภอบางสะพาน ส่งตัวแทนร่วมเป็นคณะกรรมการพิจารณาคัดเลือกและตัดสินแผนงานของโรงเรียนเป้าหมาย โดยเชิญคณะผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนและครู จาก 4 ตำบลโดยรอบที่ตั้งของเครือสหวริริยา (แม่รำพึง, พงศ์ประศาสน์, กำเนิดนพคุณ และธงชัย) เข้ารับฟัง และรับทราบข้อมูลรายละเอียดของโครงการอย่างเป็นทางการ ณ อาคารออดิธอเรียม บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี

โครงการดังกล่าว ที่ริเริ่มในครั้งนี้ จะสามารถผลักดันและเติบโตอย่างเข้มแข็งไปพร้อมๆกับการพัฒนาสถานศึกษาต้นแบบควบคู่ไปกับอำเภอบางสะพาน อันจะก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดต่อภาคการศึกษาของอำเภอบางสะพานต่อไป

นายถวิล ฉันทาวรานุรักษ์ ปลัดอาวุโสอำเภอบางสะพาน กล่าวว่า สำหรับโครงการนี้เป็นโครงการใหม่ของอำเภอบางสะพาน เป็นโครงการใหม่ของสหวิริยา ที่ได้ริเริ่มร่วมกัน ทั้งภาคราชการและภาคเอกชน เป็นโครงการที่จะมอบทุนในการพัฒนาทั้งครู ทั้งนักเรียน และสถานศึกษา ให้มีความเป็นเลิศ ซึ่งเมื่อสักครู่ได้ประชุมหารือแนวทางกันแล้ว ก็นับว่าเป็นโครงการที่ดีที่ทางโรงเรียนต่าง ๆ ใน 20 โรงในเขตรอบโรงงานนี้ ได้มีโอกาสได้นำเงินงบประมาณที่ทางสหวิริยาสนับสนุนให้ไปไปพัฒนา การเรียนการสอน เพื่อยกระดับการศึกษาของโรงเรียนของตนเอง โครงการนี้นับว่าเป็นโครงการที่ดีโครงการหนึ่งอยากให้ทางสหวิริยาสนับสนุนโครงการนี้ต่อเนื่องต่อไปทุกปี

นางสาวอุทิน จึงวิเศษพงศ์ นักวิชาการศึกษาชำนาญการ สำนักวิชาการและมาตรฐานการศึกษา ตัวแทนสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน กล่าวว่า “ในฐานะตัวแทนของคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน และกรรมการโครงการรู้สึกยินดีมากที่ บริษัท สหวิริยาฯ และเครือสหวิริยาได้มาจัดทำโครงการนี้ เป็นโครงการที่พัฒนาการศึกษาระยะยาว เห็นแล้วก็ดีใจแทนโรงเรียนที่อยู่ในเขตอำเภอบางสะพาน เพราะจริง ๆ แล้ว กิจกรรมที่พัฒนาคุณภาพของผู้เรียนเป็นหน้าที่หลักของโรงเรียนที่จะดำเนินการอยู่แล้ว แล้วมีงบจากภาคเอกชนสนับสนุนในจุดนี้ 20 โรงเรียนนี้ก็โชคดี ไม่ต้องไปแข่งขันกับโรงเรียนทั่วประเทศ สำหรับบทบาทของภาคธุรกิจในการพัฒนาด้านการศึกษา ณ ปัจจุบันนี้ นโยบายของกระทรวงศึกษา ก็จะพยายามดึงภาคธุรกิจภาคเอกชน เข้ามาร่วมพัฒนาด้านการศึกษาเรา เพราะว่าถ้าจะหวังพึ่งงบประมาณของทางราชการจะมีเพียงน้อยนิด จะมีน้อยมาก ซึ่งบางทีเราจัดสรรงบประมาณให้โรงเรียนจะเพียงแค่หัวเชื้อเท่านั้น เพราะฉะนั้นการที่มีภาคธุรกิจอย่างสหวิริยามาช่วยพัฒนาด้านการศึกษาของเราก็นับว่าเป็นสิ่งที่ดี ก็เป็นภาพที่ทางกระทรวงศึกษา อยากเห็นภาคธุรกิจเข้ามาร่วมในการพัฒนาด้านการศึกษาเพิ่มมากขึ้นต่อไป”

Khun Nava Chantanasurakon, Vice President – Public Affair and Social Responsibility of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or SSI led management team, officers from SSI and Sahaviriya group together with the local people participated in the 12th “ SSI ARSA” . The volunteer works include an additional construction of Huaysaikaw multipurpose hall, building of futsal field, installing of community audio tower and beautifying the surrounding scenery. Mr. Tavil Chantawaranurak, Assistant District Chief Officer of Bangsaphan was the guest of honor in this activity. The event took place at at Moo5 Tambol Kamnerdnopkoon , Amphur Bang Saphan, Prachuap Khirikhan.
