Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SSI) collaborated with Ban Don Sa-gna Youth Council, Moo8 Kamnerd Noppakhun subdistrict, to arrange a workshop on “How to sustainable overcome drug problem.” SSI invited a guest speaker from Bangsaphan Police Station, Border Patrol Police Company 147 and Security Affairs of Bangsaphan District, to provide a workshop for 130 young people. After this event, Ban Don Sa-gna Youth Council will launch a plan and create guideline to protect their community from drug problem in sustainable way. The event was presided over by Mr. Veraj Tharasombud, Bangsaphan District Chief Officer.

The workshop is an activity under “The Strengthening Community Program to Prevent and Resolve Drug Problem by Youth Project,” supported 67,300 Baht fund by the Fund Administration Ministry of Social Development and Human Security of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The council is the only organization that has received the highest amount of the funds, among 25 organizations receiving the support.

เอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับสภาเยาวชนบ้านดอนสง่า จัดอบรมให้ความรู้เรื่องยาเสพติดแก่เยาวชนในหมู่บ้าน

          บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับ สภาเยาวชนบ้านดอนสง่า หมู่ที่ 8 ต. กำเนิดนพคุณ จัดอบรมให้ความรู้เรื่อง “การเอาชนะยาเสพติดอย่างยั่งยืน” โดย เอสเอสไอ ได้เชิญวิทยากรจากสถานีตำรวจภูธรอำเภอบางสะพาน กองร้อย ตชด. 147 และฝ่ายความมั่นคง อำเภอบางสะพาน ซึ่งมีเยาวชนและประชาชนที่สนใจเข้ารับการฝึกอบรม จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 130 คน หลังจากเสร็จสิ้นการฝึกอบรม สภาเยาวชนบ้านดอนสง่า จะได้นำข้อมูลไปจัดทำแผนงาน และแนวทางการป้องกันยาเสพติดในชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป ทั้งนี้กิจกรรมดังกล่าวได้รับเกียรติจาก นายเวรัชช์ ธาราสมบัติ นายอำเภอบางสะพาน ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานเปิดการอบรม
          การอบรมในครั้งนี้ เป็นอีกกิจกรรมหนึ่งภายใต้ “โครงการสร้างความเข้มแข็งของชุมชนในการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติดโดยเยาวชน” โดยได้รับงบประมาณสนับสนุนจาก กองทุนส่งเสริมการจัดสวัสดิการสังคม สำนักงานพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เป็นเงินจำนวน 67,300 บาท ซึ่งสภาเยาวชนบ้านดอนสง่า เป็นองค์กรชุมชนที่ได้รับการจัดสรรงบประมาณมากที่สุดจากองค์กรชุมชน จำนวน 25 องค์กร ที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณจากกองทุนดังกล่าว

Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC (SSI) collaborated with the Natural Resources and Environmental of Prachuab Khiri Khan to arrange Super Smart & Intelligent Kids (SSI Kids) Project 2015, with an aim to support the youth to realize the importance of water, the environment and water pollution issue. The youth were encouraged to learn to take water samples, test water quality and set up a SSI Kids Network to take care of water sources in their communities. The event was presided over by Mr. Padungsak Pranudomrat, Assistant Vice President, Public & Community Relations, Public Affairs and Social Responsibility Division of SSI. Ms. Noawarat Intaradate, Specialist of the Natural Resources and Environmental of Prachuab Khiri Khan, was the guest speaker, giving a lecture on water and environmental monitoring through various activity platforms, including water quality monitoring platform at HRC Plant (before and after treatment process), water quality monitoring stand at Hot Rolled Coil Picked and Oiled Plant, small freshwater animal monitoring platform and bird surveying platform. There were 142 students from primary school grade 5 in Mae Ramphueng subdistrict, joining the event.

เอสเอสไอจัด SSI Kidsสร้างเครือข่ายเยาวชนรักษ์สายน้ำ

บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับ สำนักงานทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ จัดโครงการ Super Smart & Intelligent Kids (SSI Kids) 2015เพื่อสร้างทัศนคติให้เยาวชนเห็นคุณค่าและความสำคัญของน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมตลอดจนตระหนักถึงปัญหามลพิษทางน้ำพร้อมทั้งเรียนรู้วิธีการเก็บตัวอย่างน้ำวิเคราะห์และตรวจสอบคุณภาพน้ำ และสร้างเครือข่ายกลุ่มเยาวชนคนรักษ์สายน้ำเพื่อร่วมกันดูแลรักษาแหล่งน้ำของตนให้มีคุณภาพดี โดยมีนายผดุงศักดิ์ ปราณอุดมรัตน์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป ฝ่ายประชาสัมพันธ์และชุมชนสัมพันธ์ เอสเอสไอ ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานเปิดโครงการ และนางสาวเนาวรัตน์ อินทราเดช นักวิชาการชำนาญการ สำนักงานทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เป็นวิทยากรบรรยายเกี่ยวกับกระบวนการตรวจสอบคุณภาพน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อม ผ่านฐานกิจกรรมที่หลากหลาย ซึ่งประกอบด้วยฐานการสำรวจคุณภาพน้ำ ในส่วนบ่อรวบรวมน้ำเสียโรงงานผลิตเหล็กแผ่นรีดร้อนชนิดม้วน ก่อนและหลังผ่านกระบวนการบำบัด ฐานการตรวจสอบคุณภาพน้ำในบ่อรวบรวมน้ำเสียของโรงงานผลิตเหล็กแผ่นรีดร้อนชนิดม้วนประเภทปรับผิวและเคลือบน้ำมัน ฐานการสำรวจสัตว์เล็กน้ำจืด และฐานการสำรวจนก โดยมีนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ในตำบลแม่รำพึงเข้าร่วมจำนวน 142 คน

The Committee of Sahaviriya Fund for Bangsaphan Educational Development Project, consisting of academic advisors from Office of the Basic Education commission of Thailand (OBEC), Ministry of Education, Director of the Office of Prachuap Khiri Khan Primary Educational Service Area Zone 1 and Mr. Padungsak Pranudomrat, Assistant Vice President of Public & Community Relations of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SSI), as a representative of Sahaviriya Group, together attended a presentation, regarding the launch of “Sahaviriya Fund for Bangsaphan Educational Development Project 2015” (4th generation), to inform school executives in Bangsaphan about the project and recruit schools which are interested in joining the project and submitting a 3-year educational development plan to win THB 1.2 million fund. The purpose of this project is to promote and develop education in Bangsaphan in 3 dimensions (schools, teachers and students), by focusing on sustainable development.
In addition, during this event the Sahaviriya Fund Committee evaluated performance of the 2 schools (Bangsaphan Kindergarten School and Bangsaphan School) who have received supporting fund from “Sahaviriya Fund for Bangsaphan Educational Development Project” in 2013 and 2014 respectively. Both schools performed and achieved the project’s goal, according to their 3-year education development plans.

เน้นพัฒนาคุณภาพศึกษาบางสะพานต่ออย่างยั่งยืน

คณะกรรมการโครงการกองทุนสหวิริยาร่วมพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาบางสะพาน ประกอบด้วยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน (สพฐ.)และผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษา ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เขต1 (สพป.ปข.1) พร้อมด้วยนายผดุงศักดิ์ ปราณอุดมรัตน์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป สำนักประชาสัมพันธ์และชุมชนสัมพันธ์และผู้บริหารเครือสหวิริยา ร่วมประชุมชี้แจงรายละเอียดเปิดตัวโครงการกองทุนสหวิริยาร่วมพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาบางสะพาน ปีการศึกษา 2558 (รุ่นที่ 4) ให้แก่ คณะผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาในเขตอำเภอบางสะพานและเปิดรับสมัครสถานศึกษาร่วมโครงการฯ โดยการส่งแผนพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาระยะ 3 ปี เข้าประกวด เพื่อชิงทุนสนับสนุนพัฒนาสถานศึกษาจากเครือสหวิริยา มูลค่ารวม 1.2 ล้านบาท โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาการศึกษาอำเภอบางสะพานแบบองค์รวมทั้งสามมิติ ได้แก่ สถานศึกษา ครู และนักเรียน สู่ความเป็นเลิศทางการศึกษาตอกย้ำแนวทางการพัฒนาบนวิถีแห่งความยั่งยืน
พร้อมกันนี้ คณะกรรมการโครงการฯ ได้ร่วมประเมินผลการดำเนินงานของ 2 โรงเรียน ที่ได้รับทุนสนับสนุนพัฒนาสถานศึกษาจากกองทุนฯ ปีการศึกษา 2556 และ 2557 ได้แก่ โรงเรียนอนุบาลบางสะพานและโรงเรียนบางสะพาน ซึ่งผลการประเมินจากคณะกรรมการโครงการฯ พบว่า ทั้ง 2 โรงเรียนมีผลการดำเนินงานเป็นไปตามแผนพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาระยะ 3 ปี บรรลุตามวัตถุประสงค์ของโครงการ

Mr. Thinnakorn Phadungwong, Vice President of Manufacturing of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (SSI) lead executives and staff to collaborate with Mae Ramphueng Sub District Administration Organization, local entrepreneurs and people in Bangsaphan district, 558 people in total, to join “SSI Beach Clean-Up”. The activities included cleaning and improving the appearance along 3 kilometers of Mae Ramphueng beach, Bangsaphan district, Prachuap Khiri Khan, on the occasion of the World Environment Day 2015, with an aim to support environmental conservation and reduce global warming. The event was presided over by Mr. Veraj Tharasombud, Bangsaphan District Chief Officer.
In addition, the United Nations has launched a theme “7 Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care” for this year’s World Environment Day which focuses on sustainable consumption and production. This theme supports humans to use natural resources wisely, as we have only one planet which will be soon handed over to younger generations. Therefore, if we learn this theme, we can together sustainable save the world.

เอสเอสไอรวมพลคนบางสะพานเก็บขยะหาดแม่รำพึงวันสิ่งแวดล้อมโลก 2558

นายทินกร ผดุงวงศ์ ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ สายการผลิต บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ นำคณะผู้บริหาร พนักงานกลุ่มเอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแม่รำพึง ผู้ประกอบการโรงแรม ร้านค้า และประชาชนในพื้นที่ตำบลแม่รำพึง
จำนวน 558 คน ร่วมกิจกรรมโครงการ “เอสเอสไอ…รักษ์ชายหาด” (SSI Beach Clean-Up) โดยร่วมกันเก็บขยะและปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์เป็นระยะทางรวมกว่า 3 กิโลเมตร เนื่องในวันสิ่งแวดล้อมโลก 2558 เพื่อส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมในการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม และลดภาวะโลกร้อน ณ ชายหาดแม่รำพึง อ.บางสะพาน จ. ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยมี นายเวรัชช์ ธาราสมบัติ นายอำเภอบางสะพาน ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานเปิดกิจกรรม
ทั้งนี้ในปี 2558 องค์การสหประชาชาติได้กำหนดคำขวัญวันสิ่งแวดล้อมโลกไว้ว่า “7 billion dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care.” หรือที่ใช้รณรงค์กันในประเทศไทยว่า “7 พันล้านฝัน 7 พันล้านใจ คิดห่วงใยในผืนโลก” เน้นประเด็นการบริโภคและการดำเนินการผลิตที่ยั่งยืน โดยมีแนวคิดว่ามนุษย์จะต้องใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างฉลาดและระมัดระวัง เพราะเรามีโลกเพียงใบเดียว อีกทั้งเรายังต้องส่งมอบโลกใบนี้ให้กับลูกหลานของเราอีกด้วย เพราะถ้าทุกคนรู้จักใช้ชีวิต ใช้ทรัพยากรในการผลิตและบริโภคอย่างชาญฉลาดก็จะสามารถรักษาโลกไว้ได้อย่างยั่งยืน
