Mr. Kittisak Mapanao, Vice President, Manufacturing Division of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited, said that in order to prepare for the increasing purchase orders from customers due to expansion of steel consumptions from both domestically and internationally markets, Hot Strip Mill (HSM) of the Company at Bang Saphan District, Prachuap Khirikhan Province has to continually produce and improve its production efficiency all the time. Due to the above reason, HSM has been able to produce hot rolled coils (HRC) at the maximum amount of 10,736 tons per day on September 29, 2009. This is the highest record ever since the manufacture has been firstly processed. Previously, the highest production record of HSM was at 10,722 tons per day on June 12, 2006.

Mr.Attakorn Upakarn, Section Manager- Hot Strip Mill (HSM) of SSI talked about the recent significant milestone that, “The new highest statistics on manufacturing of hot rolled steel sheet up to 10,736 tons per day is regarded as the first step of staff’s achievement. However, this is not our ultimate pleasure. Our next target is to break this record and keep on improving ourselves. The reason why I am so confident is that I have worked with SSI staff for a long time, and I know that all of them have internal inspiration, spirit, strong commitment and dedication. We always keep in mind of expectation and trust that SSI have towards the staff so that everyone can grow together and achieve mutual targets on manufacturing hot rolled steel sheet for maximum satisfaction of the customers. These are main reasons that create major historic record of SSI this time.”

เอสเอสไอทุบสถิติผลิตเหล็กแผ่นรีดร้อนสูงสุดต่อวัน 10, 736 ตัน

นายกิตติศักดิ์ มาพะเนาว์ ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ สายการผลิต บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี เปิดเผยว่า เพื่อรองรับคำสั่งซื้อจากลูกค้าอันเนื่องจากการขยายตัวของการบริโภคเหล็กจากทั้งตลาดในประเทศ และต่างประเทศเพิ่มขึ้นในปัจจุบัน ทำให้โรงงานผลิตเหล็กรีดร้อน (HSM) ของบริษัทที่อำเภอบางสะพาน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ได้ดำเนินการผลิตอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมถึงปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพการผลิตตลอดเวลา ด้วยเหตุดังกล่าวได้ส่งผลให้โรงงานผลิตเหล็กรีดร้อนทำสถิติผลิตได้สูงสุดถึง 10,736 ตันต่อวัน ในวันที่ 29 กันยายน 52 ตั้งแต่บริษัทฯ เริ่มดำเนินการผลิต ทั้งนี้ โรงงานผลิตเหล็กรีดร้อนของบริษัทเคยทำสถิติผลิตได้สูงสุดถึง 10,722 ตันต่อวันเมื่อวันที่ 12 มิถุนายน 2549

นายอรรถกร อุปการ ผู้จัดการส่วน โรงงานผลิตเหล็กรีดร้อน บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี กล่าวถึงเหตุการณ์สำคัญที่เกิดขึ้นว่า “ นับเป็นความภูมิใจก้าวแรกของพนักงาน ที่วันนี้ เราสามารถทำสถิติการผลิตได้สูงสุดถึง 10,736 ตันต่อวัน แต่ไม่ถือเป็นความภูมิใจสูงสุด เป้าหมายต่อไปของพวกเรา คือ การทำลายสถิติและไม่หยุดพัฒนาตัวเอง ที่มั่นใจเช่นนี้ ก็เพราะ ได้คลุกคลี และสัมผัสการทำงาน กับเพื่อนร่วมงานของเอสเอสไอ จึงรู้ว่าทุกคน มีแรงผลักดันภายใน มีสปิริต มุ่งมั่นและทุ่มเท เราทุกคนคำนึงอยู่เสมอ ถึงความคาดหวัง ความไว้วางใจ ที่เอสเอสไอ มีต่อพนักงานเพื่อให้ทุกคนได้เติบโต และบรรลุเป้าหมายร่วมกันในการผลิตเหล็กแผ่นรีดร้อนเพื่อสร้างความพึงพอใจให้กับลูกค้าสูงสุด ซึ่งนับเป็นเหตุผลหลัก ที่ทำให้เกิดบันทึกหน้าสำคัญ ของเอสเอสไอในครั้งนี้”
