SSI Supports Coconut Farmers Workshop for Increasing Productivity and Revenue
Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or SSI arranged Agricultural Technology Seminar and workshop on “Increasing productivity in coconut plantation and its adding value by processing” conducted by agricultural expert from Chumphon Horbicultural Research Center. Participants have received knowledge and technique for increasing productivity by cultivating other crops in coconut palm plantation, demonstration of production process of value-added products which consisted of virgin coconut oil, soap from virgin coconut oil, healing cream trail, and silky hair coat. The purpose is to help agriculturist to improve the capabilities of production and increase their revenue. This activity was held at Auditorium of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. Bangsaphan, Prachuabkhirikhan.

บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด(มหาชน)หรือ เอสเอสไอ จัดโครงการอบรมสัมมนาเชิงปฏิบัติการหลักสูตร “การเพิ่มผลผลิตในสวนมะพร้าวและการแปรรูปเพื่อเพิ่มมูลค่า” โดยเชิญนักวิชาการเกษตรจากศูนย์วิจัยพืชสวนชุมพรมาเป็นวิทยากร เพื่อถ่ายทอดความรู้และเทคนิควิธีการในการเพิ่มผลผลิตในพื้นที่ด้วยการปลูกพืชแซมในสวนมะพร้าว การสาธิตการแปรรูปมะพร้าวเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ต่างๆ เช่นการทำน้ำมันมะพร้าวบริสุทธิ์ การทำสบู่จากน้ำมันมะพร้าว การทำครีมสมานรอยเท้าและน้ำมันเคลือบผม เพื่อช่วยให้เกษตรกรในท้องถิ่นสามารถพัฒนาการประกอบอาชีพเกษตรกรรมและสามารถสร้างรายได้เพิ่มมากขึ้น โดยมีเกษตรกรให้ความสนใจเข้าร่วมฝึกอบรมกว่า 70 คน ณ ห้องประชุมออดิทอเรียม บมจ.สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี ตำบลแม่รำพึง อำเภอบางสะพาน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์
SSI Bangsaphan Operation holds “Half Year Goal Program Presentation 2009”
Khun Kittisak Mapanao, Vice President of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited or SSI, recently led the management and task force team of Bangsaphan Operation joining “Half Year Goal Program Presentation 2009“at SSI Auditorium, Bangsaphan, Prachuabkirikhun. There were 160 managers participated in this event approximately. The objective is to give a company direction, allow each division/department manager present their Goal program of 2009 and to enhance a good relationship among them.

SSI ARSA# 5: preserving and beautifying of Na Puk Khuang Temple
Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or SSI would like to invite Bang Saphan people to join with SSI staff in 5th “SSI ARSA” activity at Na Puk Khuang Temple, Amphur Bang Saphan, Prachuap Khirikhan on 15 August 2009 during 08.00 am – 03.00 pm. The works of volunteer are consist of renovating, painting the belfry, concrete sidewalk surround the temple hall, create vegetable & herb plot and beautifying the surrounding scenery of the temple.
