Help protect community environment, SSI-Bangsaphan people join Beach Clean-Up on World Environment Day
Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (SSI) executives and staffs joined hands with Mae Rumphueng Sub District Administration Organization, entrepreneurs and local people in Mae Rumphueng subdistrict, totaling more than 500 people, to participate in “SSI Beach Clean-Up,” by cleaning and enhancing the appearance along 3 kilometers of Mae Rumphueng beach on the occasion of the World Environment Day, 5 June 2014. The purpose of the activities is to enhance local people’s participation in environmental protection. The event took place at Mae Rumphueng beach, Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khiri Khan, and was presided over by Mr. Veraj Tharasombud, Bangsaphan District Chief Officer.
In addition, in 2014 the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) sets a theme for the World Environment Day “Raise you voice not the sea level” to encourage everyone to do their best for taking care of the world everyday, everywhere and every time.

คณะผู้บริหาร พนักงาน บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแม่รำพึง ผู้ประกอบการโรงแรม ร้านค้า และประชาชนในพื้นที่ตำบลแม่รำพึง จำนวนกว่า 500 คน ร่วมกิจกรรมโครงการ “เอสเอสไอ…รักษ์ชายหาด” (SSI Beach Clean-Up) โดยร่วมกันเก็บขยะและปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์ชายหาดแม่รำพึงเป็นระยะทางรวมกว่า 3 กิโลเมตร เนื่องในวันสิ่งแวดล้อมโลก 2557 เพื่อส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม ณ ชายหาดแม่รำพึง อ.บางสะพาน จ. ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยมี นายเวรัชช์ ธาราสมบัติ นายอำเภอบางสะพาน ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานเปิดงาน
ในปี 2557 นี้ โครงการสิ่งแวดล้อมสหประชาชาติ (United Nations Environment Programme: UNEP) ได้กำหนดจัดกิจกรรมเนื่องในวันสิ่งแวดล้อมโลก ภายใต้หัวข้อ Raise you voice not the sea level หรือ ยกระดับความคิด แก้วิกฤติน้ำท่วมโลก โดยให้ทุกคนคิดทำเพื่อโลก ทุกวัน ทุกที่ ทุกเวลา

As Thursday 5 June 2014 will be the World Environment Day, Sahaviriya Steel Industries PCL (SSI), Mae Rumphueng Sub District Administration Organization and entrepreneurs in Mae Rumphueng would like to invite you to join “SSI Beach Clean-Up.” The activities include cleaning 3 kilometers of Mae Rumphueng beach, collecting garbage in the area and improving the appearance of the beach between 8.30-12.00 AM at Mae Ramphueng beach, Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khiri Khan.
SSI adheres to its responsibility towards the environment and local resources. Therefore, the Company has set up many projects to raise awareness and understanding among locals in protecting the environment.

เนื่องในวันสิ่งแวดล้อมโลก วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 5 มิถุนายน 2557 ที่จะถึงนี้ บริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ ร่วมกับองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแม่รำพึง ผู้ประกอบการร้านค้า และโรงแรมชายหาดแม่รำพึง ขอเชิญชวนประชาชนในพื้นที่ร่วมกันดำเนินโครงการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมภายใต้โครงการ “เอสเอสไอรักษ์ชายหาด” โดยจะร่วมกันทำความสะอาด เก็บขยะตลอดแนวชายหาดแม่รำพึงเป็นระยะทาง 3 กิโลเมตร และปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์บริเวณสวนสาธารณะชายหาด ตั้งแต่เวลา 08.30-12.00 น. ณ หาดแม่รำพึง อ.บางสะพาน จ. ประจวบคีรีขันธ์
